The greeting by the staff was welcoming and enthusiastic. The other standout point was the flaxseed pillow. Best pillow experience Ive had. I ordered some for home. and, communication from the hotel was very good.
The outdoor patio is positioned such that when people sit there and have a cigarette, the smoke goes up and straight into any bedroom with the window open. Allowing smokers in this small, enclosed area also puts other guests off enjoying the space.
The breakfast wasnt great. Not a lot of ambiance in the dining area. We felt uncomfortable speaking and breaking the silence.
The hotels fine but the smoking thing really put us off.

The hotel is quite comfortable. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast is usual. The hotel is near the main railway station from which no problem to get to the Bergpark Wilhelmshhe. The bus stop is at hand as well. The hotel is close to the shopping centre, state theatre & the Karlsaue Park & plenty of places where you can have a meal. There's no noise from the street because the rooms have double windows but you hear quite well what's going on in the neighboring bathroom. Still it's not a problem. The staff is extremely friendly & ready to help. Wi Fi worked perfectly. There was always an electric kettle & a choice of tea & coffee. A small fridge was also available. There were a table, a chair & an armchair for relaxation in my room for two though I stayed alone. In May it was even too warm in the room especially at night.
The fridge sounds were permanent & loud but some time later you got used to it.

Amazing breakfast, lovely staff
Room on main street... Good blinds to block people seeing in. Small bathroom. Cold on arrival as the heating is turned on by the guests. 3 parking spaces only so we parked on the street.
