Lovely decor in the lobby and good location. Very comfortable beds.
The rooms were so basic- no nightstands next to the beds and tiny bathrooms. They were doing work on the side of the building and it was so loud. Drilling and hammering all the time. I went to down to ask about the possibility of moving and the desk staff had rooms in another spot. Why didnt we get those rooms when we arrived? By then we were unpacked and they were almost done drilling for the day so we just stayed. They were up early working again- you would think theyd offer us a free drink at the bar for the inconvenience of staying in rooms that were so loud.

Pauline and Robert at Reception gave excellent service and advice. The location was ideal for arrival/departure from the Bahnhof and perfect for touring the city. The excellent bar totally exceeded our expectations!
The room was quite small for two people, and we found ourselves stepping over our bags to get around.

The hotel is clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast was very good and the staff for the most part were very helpful and friendly. One of the breakfast staff helped get me some gluten free bread for my two breakfasts there.
There was no water cooker for tea or any tea set up there at all. There was no iron but I think you could get one from the front desk. The room was a little bit small.

The best location in Leipzig - right across from the Nikolaikirche! I discovered this excellent hotel on my previous visit to Leipzig and therefore booked it. Very good internet. In front of the hotel there are tables and seating belonging to the hotel, which is very rare to find anymore.

Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The lady at the bar at night was very welcoming and pleasant. Amazing location, within walking distance from anything in the city centre. Breakfast was nice, apart from boiled eggs, the yolk was darkish.
The room was dirty, there were hairs all over the place, you could see dust flying in the sun. We asked for the room to be cleaned, when we came in the evening the hairs were still there, not all the towels were clean - two changed two left (hand towels). The room had no phone to contact reception, no water, no kettle - nothing that would be considered complimentary and add to the pleasant stay. Every time we were thirsty we had to pay 3 euros and go downstairs to the bar area.
