Central location, we upgraded to a superior room which is a good size. Show was very good and beds comfy
Lots of noise from the street which is a busy road. Sound isoltion works wuite well but as a light sleeper it did bother me a bit. AC is a portable fan which works ok but not ideal.

The location to the train station was the most important as our transfer had been missed due to train track maintenance and we ended up in Leipzig station at nearly 1 a.m. The train station was closed so we needed to find a hotel that could take us and that was close to the station so we could continue our journey in the a.m. The hotel was short walking distance, and had availability as I checked on booking.com to take us that night
It is a historical hotel which is prohibited from installing A/C so not great in that regard, but we opened windows on the 4th floor and got a breeze and turned on the fan. If there hadn't been a heat wave in Germany in August it would not have been an issue.

It was of course a little noisy, due its location. We had been alerted to that by the staff and also saw the notice in the room that ear plugs were available at the reception. But it really didn't matter much and we did not request ear plugs.

Ask for an interior facing room- much quieter away from the street noise . Staff graciously allowed us to switch rooms .

The hotel is next to the train station, which is a few minutes' walk from the center of Leipzig. Close to all Leipzig attractions. The building is very beautiful and stylish. The room is very luxurious and comfortable. Exceeded my expectations! The bathroom is huge - a real dream. The breakfast is lovely and there is a beautiful interior garden open all day. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Clean, spacious and quiet room (if you get the comfort room, overlooking the garden) in the middle of the city. Lovely, friendly staff. Perfectly good without being spectacular breakfast. They printed my boarding cards out for me without asking for me to pay...

Breakfast was excellent. Good location to visit Leipzig. Area did not have enough to keep us entertained for the 3 night stay.
Bedrooms were dated and in need or redecoration. Upgraded to suite to include a bath, but did not find the room homely and cosy. Found the room cold and tired.

The menu in the restaurant was very poor. The combination of schnitzel with mushroom sauce is weird!
