The entire place was impeccable and the views from the hotel were beautiful. We also really enjoyed the spa, which had three saunas and an outdoor pool and was open until late. Overall, we had a relaxing and comfortable stay.
There was a faint ringing sound in the room throughout the night that made it a bit difficult to sleep. We would have also enjoyed having a drink in the evening, but the terrace was closed and there was no bartender at the bar (although the receptionist kindly served us instead).

A stunning set of buildings with far reaching views of the countryside. Quiet location but its easy to get to other nearby towns. The room was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Again the room had stunning views over the countryside. Breakfast was excellent. A lot of quality choices. A gorgeous place to stay.
These are some suggestions. For non German speakers, maybe a fact sheet (in the main languages - French, English, Italian etc) containing information about breakfast times, where the restaurant is situated, how to use the pool or spa, where to get a coffee. This would be very helpful. Additionally, tea and coffee facilities in the room would be very welcome. As well as a fan. It was incredibly hot even with the windows open. I understand given the age of the building and maybe eco considerations why there is no air con.

Everything about the hotel was lovely. The rooms were nice and spacious. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast was really nice and the staff were really good & kind! I would definitely stay there again

lovely buildings, rooms and pool and wellness area. i was competing in the Ironman in Roth and this was a perfect relaxing location for the days before and after. we had the whole pool area to ourselves for two days in fact. loved the breakfast too

Beautiful historic hotel with tons of charm! Great location on the Romantic Road with lovely views. The breakfast was great, and so was the dinner! We sat by the pool, but didn't get in. We stayed 2 nights, and wish we could have stayed longer! There was a wedding there, so we got to see the "special rooms" and the church. Absolutely gorgeous!
If there wasn't a wedding there, we wouldn't have been able to wander through the fabulous "old historic" hotel and the church from the 1600's. That would have been a real shame. They need to offer a tour of the historic areas.
