Good location, good breakfast.
Bad room service at Hotel Europa. We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and for one day we did not get our rooms cleaned ie beds were not made, bins were not emptied and towels were not changed. This happened even though we put a sign on our door asking to have our room cleaned. Another day we had also run out of toilet paper and whilst the rest of the room had been cleaned, the toilet paper was not refilled and we had to call reception to specifically ask for this. The staff at the hotel apologised and offered a cup of coffee as compensation but this is below par of what can be expected of a 4-star hotel. You get the same level of service in a 3-star hotel (and sometimes better service) so save your money and book a 3-star hotel or go to some other 4-star hotel. Hotel Europa has nice rooms but for the price you are paying it is not worth it and should really have 3 stars.

I was traveling with family for my sons wedding in Munich in September and we had 5 rooms here. Everything about the hotel experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast offerings were magnificent: bagels and breads, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, and pastries, coffee, juice, beer, and sparkling wine (I kid you not ), just to name SOME of the many offerings. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, welcoming and very clean. It is near to the tram and an easy walk to the City Center. We had a wonderful stay, and definitely would come back to this hotel again!
We did not have even a tiny complaint, though we did have questions about the windows to some of the in-room bathrooms, which we found humorous and great conversation pieces. The wall coverings were much appreciated!

Comfortable and meets the standard of a four-star hotel. Most staff were friendly and helpful.
The Housekeeping Team only refilled tea and coffee but did not clean our room (we had hanged the sign please tidy our room on the door handle). We called the reception and they sent someone to pick up our trash and bring us clean towels in 15 minutes. Really appreciate their help and responsiveness, especially the gentleman from the reception who came pick up the trash for us (I didnt pick up his name, but he came around 6 p.m. on October 7).

The decorations are nice. Location is okay, close to tram station. The Sommelire was very friendly and we talked about wine. Probably the only good experience during my stay.
The light bulb of the lamp and the TV is broken. Told the front desk to fix it the next day. But only the light bulb is changed, TV remains broken. The fridge is kinda broken, it's not cold enough and almost made our food inedible. The parking garage is not as good as others said. The elevator is far away from parking space and it's difficult for us the get our luggage to it. The light at the parking garage closes automatically, too dangerous even for energy saving. The thing I cannot accept the most is, the front desk told me breakfast time when I checked in, without telling me I have to pay extra. I was charged when I checked out. The breakfast was not expensive, but the response I got when I checked out was very frustrating. I DO know I booked a no-breakfast room, but the experience was still disappointing. I know Munich is an expensive city, but for a 200per night hotel, should have better service.

Great staff, very clean and comfortable, modern & nicely decorated and delicious daily breakfast. We loved it!
Located a bit outside of the main areas but very walkable and easy walk to many places.
