Everything! The location is excellent and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, food markets, Marianplatz, train station, subway, and beautiful churches. The staff is most helpful, greet you with smiles and one young employee was even going to help us get our luggage to the train station if needed. We arrived several hours early, but were upgraded to a larger room rather than make us wait for our reserved room to be cleaned after the occupants departed. We were given a suite with a bed so comfortable we joked about taking it home with us. The room was simply beautiful. Maid service was excellent and quality toiletries were kept in supply. This is a somewhat large hotel with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The lobby is utterly charming in decor.

Nice lobby area, room was fairly comfortable. Staff were very helpful.
The area around the hotel has deteriorated as stores have closed and construction is underway. So not much like it used to be. Hopefully in the future it will be better. Room smaller than expected.

We loved the staff, the cleanliness and attention to detail. The breakfasts were great. The staff catered to us like nowhere else. They were knowledgeable of the area and we had fun talking with them.
We were on the street side and it was really noisy.

This hotel is in a perfect location if you're trying to be at Octoberfest. 5 minute walk to the campground. This hotel looked very nice from the photos and the table service at breakfast was more than expected.
But I was extremely disappointed by the price. I paid $1,000 for two nights I assume because of the time of the year ( Octoberfest ) but I assumed the place would be much nicer than it is for that price based on the photos. I wasn't going to be able to stay one of the nights so I requested a change for one night more than 24 hours in advance and was rejected.
I can't say for certain but I'm pretty sure they even rented out the room for the day that I couldn't come anyways so it's not as if they would have lost money.
Even though the table service was awesome for breakfast the selection of food was smaller than I expected though having a freshly made omelette was nice. But for the price you're charging for the room, $50 a person for breakfast is insane.
It's a nice hotel yet I stayed at nicer for far cheaper. That includes ski lodges in the Italian/Austrian Alps, turning Locke Apartment hotel in Cambridge and the Van Der Vall in Antwerp for less than 200 a night which has fresh honeycomb every morning.
Be better.

It looked just like the pictures. Staff was friendly & provided excellent service. So glad we opted to include breakfast in our stay - great way to start each day prior to sightseeing. Started adding omelets to our meal later in our stay. Room was very clean and comfortable, quiet. Close walk to everything.
I didnt like people loitering around later one evening close to train side as we returned to hotel.
