They did not tell us that the entire floor directly above our room was going to have jackhammering done 9am-5pm daily! We happened to be back in our room one afternoon on the second day and could not stay in the room due to the terrible noise. Zero communication on the hotels part.

Great location where you want to be. Didnt use the bar, but it looked very inviting.
The shower! It was a tub shower with a little glass partition to keep the water in the tub. It didnt. It wouldnt. Water everywhere after a shower. Annoyingly, the front desk would give us a hard time about needing extra towels to mop everything up.

Attentive and friendly service. Superb location!! Easy walk from hotel to explore sights in Munich old town, close to restaurants and shops. Clean room w/air conditioning. Loved the new sauna and steam facilities.

The location is great. The room was renovated.
A part of the hotel is in reconstruction. During the working time is really noisy. I was told on the reception that they upgrade my room for free and will accommodate me in a comfortable renovated room. But they did not say that in they are reconstruction work in next room. It was not possible to stay in the room during the day. I have to have some business phone calls - it was not possible to hear each other because of the noise. In the next morning the reconstruction started from 8 a.m. And this for almost 700 euro per night. They could be more honest and to inform clients for these inconveniences.
