We booked this hotel as we were traveling from Mannheim to Prague. I was hoping to make it all the way to Prague but had to stop because I was tired. We found this hotel on the internet while driving close to Nuremberg. We got there at 9pm and the Manager met us with a smile and was very friendly. I was impressed with the hotel as soon as I arrived. The manager called the restaurant to make sure they would stay open for us. The meal was very good and we enjoyed how the restaurant was decorated. I was very happy with the stay.

This dog friendly hotel was selected as a mid-point stopover on our drive from Switzerland to Poland. It is close to the Autobahn and provides open parking. Although our dog was not allowed in the restaurant, we were offered a table in the Bar area for dinner which serves the same menu as the in the restaurant, which was fully acceptable to us. The Bar Manager was extremely attentive and most helpful with recommendations and service. Our room was spacious, clean and functional. Outside there are good walks in green areas for the dog to exercise.
Only one room in the hotel has a walk-in shower we were informed, and although requested in advance, we were assigned an alternate room with another person's name on the card cover. However, the step into the bath/shower was of moderate height and accessible for someone who had recently had a knee replacement. The breakfast area is large and somewhat sterile but caters for a large number of guests, either of a transient or conference attendee nature. These are insufficient points though to detract from the overall positive aspects of the hotel.

Location to our friends and Nürnberg. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and great quality. The room and hotel were nicely presented.
We didn't sleep well as the bed was hard and noisy due to the hygienic mattress topper. We had one sachet of coffee and nine sugars for 2 people! I'm sure they would have given more, if we had asked.
