The location is perfect for the Christmas markets and main sights. The young front-desk staff was always polite and willing to assist (book a taxi, phone up a restaurant to see if a table is available...). They also spoke English without an issue. There is a lift (elevator).
The room was under the roof, got slanted ceiling, very small, and I hate to say it but uncomfortable. Small double bed pushed against the wall so one of us always had to climb, no night tables (frame has upper ledge but only 1 socket on one side, so cables all across the bed if the other person wants to have their phone within reach) and nowhere to put tablet etc if you want to watch something to sleep). Pillows not great. Nice armchair to sit but only 1 and we were two people (double room). No room to sit and eat or do anything unless only 1 person. Minuscule bathroom and shower. Scarce amenities. Hairdryer attached to wall, very uncomfortable to use as you need to keep pushing the button, you can't even stand properly in that bathroom, and the dryer would overheat and turn itself off after like 2 minutes, then you have to wait and go again. Very inefficient. It was winter and I couldn't finish drying my hair. Central heating wouldn't accommodate to our needs as you cannot regulate temperature. There is A/C which in theory should do warm air too and be able to select temperature but for some reason this one only did cold air. Comfort was really not very good. Maybe they have better rooms. Hotel is nice but we didn't sleep well.
