cleanliness
no bar or coffee facilities or a snack if you do not have breakfast. staff surly especially the receptionist when we arrived. would help if she smiled and made you feel welcome in particular when you asked her a question. i think she needs training to help her customer services.

Disappointing
The hotel is walking distance to the center and nice restaurants and Cafes. It has a parking which is always a plus. The staff is professional.
If you get situated on the 2nd or 3rd building I wish you luck finding your room. The place is an actual labyrinth. In order to go to the 2nd floor of the 2nd building for example, you need to go on the first floor of the 1st building, then go down some stairs then go up some stairs and up some more. And all that with NO alevator. (Only available till the first floor.). We were also informed that we were lucky to get a room with AC since not all rooms have one...
if you face mobility difficulties, or have a lot of luggage or you don't want to exercise while carrying your luggage about 30+ steps up and down, find an alternative for your accommodation.
I would recommend the hotel specifies the absence of elevators in most extend of their premises (on their site and in their Booking page). This luck of information caused us great discomfort as having knowns before hand, we wouldn't have chosen it.

Clean room, close to the center. Parking for the car close by. Big room and big bathroom.
The swimmingpool looks bigger on the pictures but in reality is not bigger then 4x6m.
During check in the staff was very nice and polite, but afterwards a bit unpleasant. Talking about me in German not realizing that I can understand everything.

Very convenient to the main train station (opposite) with a full view from some rooms but with large open area in front and No through traffic. We arrived by bicycle and there was a garage to store them. The windows open in the room to let in air (no air conditioning) but when closed they are very good soundproofing. Breakfast varied and plentiful. Short walk into old city. Its a large hotel. Some rooms are a walk from the lift.

Room very good, although on the 5th floor, slightly strange layout, but very well furnished, beds good, bathroom very good, with large shower, all very modern. Breakfast selection very good. The Bar was good, not bad on price and a nice relaxing atmosphere.
On arrival we were a bit tired and chose to eat in the Restaurant, some of the meals, looked a bit expensive TBH, as we were not starving, we had a very light/small meal with a soup starter, which was ok price wise. But a full 3 course meal, if you were hungry would be an expensive evening.
