The hotel was lovely, a little bit old-fashioned. The AC did not seem to work or work very well. Good location in the center, very good breakfast. We only stayed one night so limited experience but staff seemed good.

We liked our room and hotel was easy to find. The fact that there was a restaurant downstairs was very convenient after a long fight has we began our holiday
Our relatives also booked a room at the hotel. It had not been remodeled and the bath room was not as clean as it should have been

For reasons that I imagine only the tourist industry fully understand, my favourite hotel in Nuremberg is either way too expensive to even think about staying in, or one of the cheapest options in the city centre, breakfast included. Just around the corner from the Weie Turm U-Bahn (a relatively simple change at Hauptbahnhof if you're coming from the airport), this place, when the price is right, is absolutely marvellous. I've stayed here numerous times before, and it's always been a pleasure, despite the confusing layout of the place and the fact that some of the bathrooms aren't much bigger than a telephone box. Both the choice and quality of the food on offer at the breakfast buffet are also exceptionally good.
Arrive late and you might have to lean on the doorbell until the sleepy (sleeping?) staff member finally appears.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Great location to the highlights.
Only one complaint, and that was that the mattress in the second room I stayed in was very uncomfortable.

Location is excellent, near the center and also not far from the Hbf.
Breakfast was a little basic but fresh and nice overall with nice staff there.
So... maybe it's all my fault, for changing the room, but you decide:
I checked in and got a room with an inner garden view. However the door to the room was right in front of the elevator. I was immediately imagining the noise from it so went directly to the reception and explained Im very sensitive to noise. They gave me another room right away without question.
However, the room was on the top floor this time, and faced the street. I haven't thought about it at the time, but there is a restaurant downstairs, and there is a substantial amount of noise from it until 22~.
The windows were soundproof, but it was hot those couple of days, and since it was an attic room it was extremely hot without AC or a fan.
Also:
-Wifi was lagging (not slow, respons slowly) , sometimes going off.
-In the room there wasn't one of those signs you put on the door to tell the cleaning team you don't need them - which made them clean/change towels etc- which was a waste l.
-no wifi password sign in the room, so I had to go down again for it.
-water in the shower came hot even when tap turned completely to the cold side.
