The place is great, located just next to the very interesting Weimar city .
The room was a bit small, but for a short period of time is fine, clean and warm.

Breakfast and morning staff was good.
The a la carte menu restaurant was disappointing.
Overpriced and poorly managed. We waited for over one hour. Half an hour after we placed our oder the waitress told us our chosen plates were not available anymore (?)
You are in the middle of the countryside, only reachable by car and parking spots are at a daily extra fee? That felt a bit like a rip off

Clean and nice room. Calm and silent just a bit outside of town.
No fridge in our room even if the specification at booking.com stated this for our selected room. When we complained at the reception, we was just told that all rooms are not furnished with fridge!?

Amazing rooms with a very good value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well-equipped and styled in a very interesting way. The restaurant looked great, and the breakfast was fantastic.

A very good location for visiting Buchenwald memorial. The staff is helpful, the restaurant staff is great. The spa is nice.

not a minus for the property, but be aware that exiting the long driveway onto the main road can be quite tricky because the long grass on both sides impedes the view of oncoming traffic

Beautiful location near the vineyards. Very peaceful. The facilities were exceptional. Very clean and tidy. The staff were very hospitable.
The only complaint as a solo traveler was the location. Fantastic for a couples getaway however. Without a car a bus needed to be taken everytime a trip to town was warranted.
