Disappointing
Helpful man at the reception. It was really close to the center.
The last night I found blood stains in my sheets. So I felt really dirty and I barely slept. I told this to the man at the reception and he didnt believe that it was their fault. He said it is no problem. I was confused, for me it was a problem!! I didnt want to make a scene and I felt uncomfortable so I left.

The location was perfect and well within walking distance of the town. The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the castle from my window. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and filled you up for the day

Breakfast is not served until 0800 which is too late for business travellers. The town seems to close down after 7pm. Very few places to eat Hotel carpark is very small and good enough for maybe four/five vehicles. A public (unmanned) outdoor car park is available within 500m. There is a flat fee of 5 euro after 6pm. Fairly well-used and safe enough. There is an Italian restaurant opposite the hotel which is very good and reasonably priced.
Earlier opening for breakfast.

Rooms were so clean . Nice furniture. Washroom is also clean. I really loved to stay at the hotel. Breakfast was really good.

The rooms had a good size and the bathroom was modern and clean. The building is very old, has a beautiful facade and is very close to the centre. The breakfast was a plentiful buffet that never run low and was very tasty.
The inside of the building is not quite as beautiful as the outside and in parts a bit tired looking. Because of the weather we kept the window open and the road outside was surprisingly busy for such a small town.

This is a great B&B in the center of Wernigerode, well kept and clean.
The window view to the castle was a nice "bonus".

The single room was relatively spacious with a little table and a little armchair available too. The castle view was just stunning and that was my favourite feature! The location is convenient, but not too central therefore quieter than other hotels. I loved the smell of sage in the hallway. WiFi signal really good.
