The location is perfect for those coming by train: 15 Min walk from the main station or 10 Min from the Westentor station. Close to the Schloss, only 5 Min walk to the stop of the Bimmelbahn. Amazingly cozy and nice inside, old building with the charm of the town. Romantic! We had a spacious apartment with a separate bedroom and classic vintage furniture. Clean, tidy, all necessary dishes, cutlery and appliances for the stay are in the kitchen (kettle, coffee machine, etc.). Clean bathroom with a hairdryer. Very friendly staff! And tasty breakfasts!
It might be a little bit loud from the road if you open the windows (depends on which room you have, I guess), but if you keep them closed you won't hear a thing.

First time after 40 yrs and hundreds of hotels that there is no bath soap in a hotel room ( to avoid allergy?, how many people have soap allergy? Would these people not bring their own?) . Bath water is not warm enough, no soft bed linens, no charging plugs near bed

The apartment was LOVELY, super clean, very well taken care off. I would live in an apartment like this. It is also very well located, close to the main central area.
Breakfast wasn't adapted to people with food intolerances like gluten or glucose intolerance.

The anti-Corona concept of the breakfast was reasonable - the basics of the breakfast were placed on the table beforehand and more food and drinks could be ordered from the hosts, such that small distances between people, which are typical at buffets, could be avoided.
The host was not available when we arrived at the check-in. It took quite some time until he appeared. Very small number of plant-based options for breakfast, while lots of plastic waste is produced - partly Corona can be blamed but not completely.

Breakfast and location are OK.
After arrival we had to wait more than 40 minutes before someone showed up to hand out the keys as the reception was closed; that was way too long. Breakfast is from 8:00, we would appreciate it to have it earlier. The floor in the room was a bit squeaky so it was heard from room to room and even from a floor above us.
