I truly recommend this hotel. If you go to Winterberg, do make sure to stay at this hotel. The rooms are nice and cozy. The view is great. The breakfast is really good and the host makes a great scrambled eggs with bacon. The host is really helpfull and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed and nice. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I go to Winterberg.

Perfect spot for a solo traveler who's looking for a quiet and friendly place. Not too central but then again depends on what you call central. especially in a place like Winterberg. Anyway, hopefully will go back there again and to stay exactly in this hotel. The whole experience was quite indescribable. Extra recommended if you know a few words of German yet still would like to feel welcomed:)

Staff is very nice. The same guy - the hotel owner or his son - was working as a receptionist, a cook and a cleaner and he was doing it all very good. The breakfast was fantastic. It was also a great pleasure to talk with him. And the view from my room's window was astonishing.

Very friendly hosts, who also speak Dutch. You have a great view from the room terrace. Extremely clean rooms. Handy street site storage garage for bikes. Good breakfast. COVID safe stay.
One minor detail: the bathroom has a ventilator with sensor. It makes some noise, especially at night. You can bypass this by taking the keycard out/in. One bathroom is with a sensor. If you forget to put the second one, you shower in the dark. ;)
