Hotel was at a convenient location for me since place I went for business was pretty nearby. Hotel was more of a boutique type. Food offered in the restaurant of the hotel for dinner was good too.
The pillow in the room was pretty uncomfortable and Id like them to have more options (I know this is not easy in such small boutique hotels!). Breakfast could have been better with more variety/options.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the allover atmosphere of the hotel is just lovely.. It's great to be around this place. The restaurant is also amazing, the food is very tasty and the selection of dishes is also satisfying.
You need a car to get around in this area.
The pillows were a bit uncomfortable but the mattresses are okay.

The location was on the outskirts of the town, oppositte a large factory however, having said that, there was very little noise or disruption from the factory or its workers. There were more than adequate parking bays opposite the hotel for its guests. The hotel was modern and tastefully decorated, with beautiful clean marble floors throughout. The restaurant was full every night with locals - a real testement to the quality of the food on offer and the ambiance of the place!! Service was excellent, the host lovely and the staff very attentive. The reception desk provided a guidebook highlighting the local attractions, which we made full use of, visiting the Lego bridge, the Wuppertal viaduct and the zoo to name just a few, and of course a round trip on the schwebebahn was an absolute must, just for the sheer novelty value of a suspended rail track. Excellent railway conncections to both Dusseldorf and Cologne etc. made getting to see other cities very easy.
Other than the hotel restaurant, there was no separate bar or pub within walking distance. For a stay any longer than a few nights, we would have struggled for entertainment (with children in tow) once our evening meal was over. Thank goodness for a good wifi signal and an i-pad.
