Exceptional
The room was very spacious and clean. So was the bathroom. We were provided with soft towels and crisp clean bedsheets. Pillows were very soft and comfortable. You have a little basic safe to out your valuables in the room. We felt our things were very secure. But, the absolute best was our kitchen chef; he was amazing and sooo lovely and friendly. The food he cooked for us was amazing. You can have breakfast and lunch/ dinner on site. All the residence staff was great and very helpful. We utterly enjoyed our stay in the Pelican Residence.

The toilet window never opened. They need a bath mat. A hand wash soap dispenser is needed in the toilet instead of a bar of soap. The shower curtain needs updating.

Location of the property is excellent as it is very close to local shops and transport network into the whole of Sere-Kunda. Staffs from cleaners to everyone were excellent during my stay with them. Uninterrupted electricity was also a huge factor staying at this property. Bravo to everyone.
Ceiling Fans in my room were not powerful, I can barely feel the wind from them. I just need to point that out but generally my stay was very good, the cleanliness of the rooms were excellent

Was very comfortable and quite.
Breakfast was not included and in the Restaurant there was no real service. Should be better explained that there is limited Restaurant facilities and only after Arrangements.

Quiet location but convenient if you dont want to be in the busy and touristic area of Senegambia. Good staff and comfortable beds.
The rooms do not have balcony despite the description says so.

Amazing place to stay for individual travelers. Helpful staff, calm area, many interesting places located nearby and within walking distance (beaches, shops, cafes, etc.); rooms are clean and big; tasty breakfasts. Would stay again.

My honest comment is that the residence is quiet, clean, staff very nice and above all I believe the location is safe.
The down sides are, the Wi-Fi went off the day I needed it most and no work table in the rooms. I had to use the lounge for work which wasn't good for privacy and data protection. Secondly, the fact that the kitchen/bar does not sell alcohol was disturbing to me which I wasn't aware of before booking. A tourist accommodation should make provision for non-Muslims/non-religious guests. I had to intermittently go out if I needed a beer in a hot temperature. Thirdly, It took longer than expect when I ordered food (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) and sometimes some of the foods on the menu were not available to prepare which was a shame. I had to go out to Senegambia area to eat or drink which is about 2 miles from the residence. If you are looking for an alcoholic residence/hotel/guesthouse with bar, I will advise you don't choose Pelican. It will be disappointing. I won't go back there for a stay.
