The hosts went above and beyond to make our arrival and stay for the week, an exceptional experience. The apartment was absolutely perfect and just what we required with a very short walk down into the city centre. There were plenty of local amenities, shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc. all within a short walk. The historic city of Split is a beautiful place and the collaboration of old and new architecture was amazing to see. We absolutely recommend this apartment in Split and Croatia in general.
There were too many good things that to mention any minor details of a personal choice would not give this property justice it deserves.

Really clean and easy check in. Leona and Mario who own the apartment are such lovely people who talk you through lots of details about the apartment and about split, what to do, where to eat etc.
Its on the 4th floor and quite small, smaller than the photos suggest but for two people its absolutely perfect. Bit pricey for the size of the apartment but I suppose you pay for the amazing location.

"Apartment 4 You in Split" is a lovely studio apartment with a spacious bed and comfortable kitchen/living area. Centrally located within a 5-minute walk from the Diocletian Palace and the old town Split, everything is within a reach: the farmers' market, the Riva waterfront, art and history museums, the ferry, train, and bus stations. Numerous grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants are nearby. The hosts Leona & Mario are exceptionally helpful, and the communication was super easy from the start. They waited for me to greet me upon my arrival and provided valuable information about the neighborhood. For those who need parking nearby, it is relatively easy to locate free parking places in the neighborhood during the evening hours. There are also several paid parking locations on the streets nearby.

The stay in 'Appartement 4 You' in Split was just fantastic. First we (my daughter and I) were very happy to find a reasonably priced stay in Split. Mario the owner was more then welcoming. I had the feeling he would not have minded I call him middle of the night for a request. A very decent and forthcoming man.
The place is very central located, about 5 minutes walk to the old Town. Fantastic.
It's small, but I believe the owner must have lived in Japan. He succeeded to create a whole apartment with absolutely everything one needs in this small space.
I definitely recommend a stay with Mario should you choose to visit Split (but only not during the time we book again!).

Leona & Mario are very nice and arranging people. They are doing their best to make sure you will enjoy your stay. When we arrived, Leona spent some time to explain us the area : beaches, bus, supermarket, tourism... We really appreciated the air conditioning system, the (very nice) bathroom, the space optimization of the appartment, and its location.

Couldnt have asked for better hosts than Leona and Mario. Apartment was perfect location. Less than 5min walk to the city, absolutely spotless. Mario offers airport collection for less than a regular taxi, and both are so helpful, offering a wealth of information. They were both so accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here.
