The location was perfect! Easy to get to, walking from the Golden Gate drop off area and the host organized transportation to and from the airport, which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean, historic and had everything we needed for our stay. Irina had so many little touches to the apartment that truly made it feel like home. We loved everything about it.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Located with to old town castle. Initially We had trouble finding the property. But the remote Owner, Irene, was able to get a friend to find us and escort us to the apartment. Then came and checked on us the next day.

The host was extremely helpful allowing for early check in and late check out. The apartment had been beautifully designed and made great use of the space. It was extremely comfortable and clean. The location was amazing, right inside the palace walls, a stone's throw from all the sights and restaurants.

Pleasant
Location was excellent as you would expect for an apartment right in the middle of the Old town, with very short distances to Supermarket, Attractions and Resturants. Washing machine was a great bonus and a "Must have" for travellers as well.
Toilet and shower facilities don't cater very well for tall people and Aircon barely cooled apartment during Summer period

Loved everything about this - location, room size, cool factor! Loved having a hangout loft apart from the bedroom. So fun to sleep so close to the palace, Id stay here again if we are ever in the area again!

The location.
I miscalculated our travel time, and we arrived 3.5 hours early, so the owner wasn't there. The apartment was in the center of the Old City, so we went and tried to find it. A shopkeeper who knew the owner was very helpful and offered to call her for us. The owner ended up giving the shopkeeper the combination to the lockbox so we could get the key. The shopkeeper gave me the phone so I could listen to all the instructions. At least 5 times during this very brief conversation, the owner chastised me for allowing the shopkeeper to learn the code. I'm not an idiot and if there were any other option, we certainly would have taken it. The apartment itself was not as advertised. There was no safebox, no closet, no toaster, the only air conditioner was in the upstairs bedroom, the dining table was a cocktail table, and there was no dining area. The terrace was unusable because there was no furniture, and it was filled with laundry. The entire apartment was overflowing with "stuff." There wasn't enough workspace on the kitchen counter to prepare 2 plates at the same time. There wasn't anyplace in the bedroom to unpack our clothes, so we lived out of our suitcases the entire time. If there was a streaming service, we never knew because we never got reception of any kind on the TV. The steps going to the upstairs bedroom were apparently designed to be decorative but are absolutely treacherous at night. We do not recommend this property.

The apartment is very well located in the historical part of Split. One feels the welcoming ambiance of the place. The kitchen is very well appointed, the bathroom is clean and the bed comfortable. The communication with the owner was great.
Bear in mind that you have to take a couple of stairs to reach the entrance to the apartment and, inside, the bedroom is in the upper level (another stair). The apartment is well appointed but there is no place to hang/store clothing, like a drawer.

The location was great, the unit was spacious, and the owner was very responsive and helpful.
We visited during a heat wave, and the air conditioning unit could not keep up with the heat to truly cool the apartment.
