Pool and sauna on their own floor with excellent views
location was over a mile from the historic part of town and getting there and back involved a circuitous route for taxi service ($$)

It was a great experience overall! I don't usually leave feedback, but Dioklecijan Hotel really exceeded our expectations with their lovely staff, great facilities and the overall amenities. It felt like a 5 star experience in a 4 star hotel!
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

First of all the staff was incredible. We booked this hotel in order to relax and unwind and the hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. We mainly used the rooftop lounge for the pool and jacuzzi. Upstairs the staff tended to every need with kindness. The massage services were top-notch! And even dinner in the hotel was lovely. WiFi signal was strong throughout the hotel and the rooms were spacious, highly clean and well air-conditioned. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from old town, or 10 minutes bus ride away (with the bus being just around the corner). And another bonus was the grocery store right below the hotel for every need.

The rooftop was great for pool and staff for spa was wonderful. The staff and breakfast buffet was also great and wonderful addition to stay. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Tommy's store on the bottom floor was extremely convenient as well.
The elevator kept going out and was a bit inconvenient at times. Thankfully we were able to use the staff elevator but staff seemed a little frustrated as it held up cleaning rooms and traveling up and down bc everyone using /waiting for 1 elevator..
No ice machine and very small refrigerator in room but we managed.

This hotel has a very restful vibe - the staff are very good - the common areas have a nice homily feel - the pool on a non windy day was fabulous
A lift was out of service for 2 days which meant a bit of extra climbing -

The staff were very helpful even assisting with travel arrangements to and from the airport and another city (Dubrovnik). The amenities in the hotel were also very nice.

The staff were very sweet , hotel room was large,but i had booked a junior suite, breakfast was good, and a 5 min drive to the old town , so was perfect.
They do not have a milk sachet in room for tea or coffee.
Not in the prettiest part of the city.

Staff were very lovel and helpful for our entire 10 day stay. The buffet breakfast is top notch and the view from the rooftop is incredible. So close to the old town (10min walk or so) but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of tourists. Despite the hotel being full during our stay, it never felt too busy which was really nice. Highly recommend if you're visiting Split.

It was a great hotel with a very spacious comfortable room. The shower was great beds comfy and not far from split old town. parking is onsite and there are lifts. Excellent breakfast.
