Wonderful
Excellent Location. Very tasteful interiour. Our room had an ancient wall integrated. Shower was great. Staff was very friendly too.

Location was phenomenal, could not get any closer to the old.center.
Advertised as having parking, and although hotel offered parking, it was a complicated process and you needed to pay extra.

A stunning location inside the Roman Palace walls. The room was so spacious and ours included a spa bath. Very very comfortable place to stay in the heart of Split
The Internet was slow and dropped out at times. The fridge in the room didnt work.

Very unique, location and staff. The terrace was fantastic and lovely to sit out with the family in the evening. We had been travelling for two weeks through Europe so it was the perfect place to stay to relax!
It was hard to get the cases to the top floor, I understand the uniqueness of the property though so it doesnt really matter in the long run. The staff member on reception was extremely helpful and offered to take the cases up. We were also right next to the bells which was a shock but we enjoyed them!

Check-in was ok, but the same evening as we arrived my keycard stopped working, turned out the door ran out of battery or something like that, either way, I could not access my stuff until lunchtime the next day when they broke the door open. The replacement room was better but not having even a toothbrush sucked (and they dident even as if i needed anything, so poop handling by the staff/manager (manager didn't seam at al concerned that a guest was looked out from their room). There was no coffee maker or even kettle, so more like a 2 star than 4 star hotel when it came to the amenities.

Location was perfect, really within the palace. What was also very nice was the possibility to have breakfast outside at a very cosy silent piazza with view at the Jupiter temple.
For me it was less of an issue, but what is good to know is that the standard way to reach the rooms is via the elevator. Although there is a stair, it does not reach the reception area. It is only for emergency reasons since the stairs arrive at the travel agency just next to the hotel. When you really have a fear for elevators you can just use teh stairs and need to walk ~10 more meters from the next door travel agency back to the hotel. Staff seems to be used t it :-)

Loved our room with the view and balcony. Location was great.
Breakfast was nothing special. No service...had to get own cutlery etc.
Coffee machine in room with no coffee or cups. We had to phone and ask and then he told us we must come down and get it. After asking again, we got coffee and paper cups, no sugar etc. Amenities stated robes -was not in room.
Overall nice room.

Fantastic remodel in an ancient building. Very nice hotel, fantastic location, fantastic breakfast.
The beds could be replaced. My bed was old and saggy and too soft.

Breakfast. Disappointing. There was a smaller choice compared to other hotels I had stayed in, and the butter portions had not been refrigerated properly. Flies (fruit flies?) were a nuisance.
