Disappointing
This is NOT a hotel(described on Booking.com as 'hotel').It consists of 4 bedrooms on a small corridor which was messy and filled with cleaning materials, ironing board, vacuum cleaner etc. The photos on Booking.com and Pietra Rossa website are not of the building or the corridor. There is no reception area at all. There is no public seating area. The description of 'seating area' in the bedroom consisted of one chair. Breakfast is NOT provided at the hotel, although this was available (at extra cost)at a cafe 200 metres away. There is no wall safe (listed as available on the website and we were told that this was 'unnecessary' ,which I feel is questionable. Having paid nearly 1000 for this 'Boutique Hotel' we feel that this was clearly not as described on your Booking.com details and is inadequate and misleading. We have photos to back this up. We are in the hospitality industry ourselves and travel widely.

A beautiful rustic room with all the facilities you could want. Great location. Ana the manager was so helpful and a lovely lady, replied to my text straight away and made our stay perfect.

The host is really polite and communication with her was good.
Hotel is located next to the busy street, so after 3 am it drove us insane, we couldnt sleep at all, even with the windows closed.

Excellent position. Quiet rooms 20 min walk to airport shuttle bus, and main harbour port out to the islands. Good recommendations for eating.... Lolas. Lovely air conditioning. Good communication with owner , who was on hand to meet us. Maps available of split . After checking out we were able to leave luggage safely until ferry in the afternoon. Good security.
No lift up to rooms which was a bit of a struggle with luggage. Coffee sachets in room would be better without milk powder and sugar already added.no liquid soap in shower dispenser. Having a bad day with Internet. Not available during our stay.

The lady who checked us in gave us a recommendation for a restaurant nearby that was really good, LOLA. Communiucation for the check in was extremely uncomplicateded, very friendly service. Fantastic room and bathroom! We were extremely glad that the room was not located right in the touristic area, but all the same only a short walking distance away from it.
