The location was right next to the Baptistry inside Diocletians Palace. The entrance is thru a gift shop. The rooms were charming and a great value. The owner of was really nice.

It was very hard to find, entry through a shop with no signs. Stayed on top floor, lots of stairs to carry bags up!

The location is very central and despite that there isn't much noise. The room was clean and comfortable.
Water from the room above us started dripping on the bed when we were sleeping. We had to move the bed (that was very heavy) to be able to sleep. We did get a discount on that day, but on the next day, the water from the ceiling started dripping again (despite the owner saying that the leak was fixed) and that is the reason I'm giving it a 7 and not a 10.

It was clean.
We stayed for 3 days. It is in a noisy area. Was only given 1 towel per person, no wash clothes, only 1 pillow per person, coffee in room for 1 day only. Bed was 2 twin beds put together with 2 separate top sheets and 2 separate old looking blankets on top. Blankets looked like they were from the 1970s. On top of that it was decorated with 2 throw pillows that looked like they were from the 1950s. I was grossed out by the bedding. It should have had a king size top sheet with a duvet covered blanket which can be changed for each new guest! Much more hygienic!! The refrigerator did not have a freezer. In the bathroom, the handle of the shower falls off into your hand when you turn the water on if you are not careful.

Amazing room in the center of Split, you live literally inside the palace complex. More centrally is not possible. Equipped with AC, nice bathroom, fridge, TV, WiFi, everything you need. Owner is very kind and laid back guy.
