It's location, right off boardwalk. Walking distance from everything.
House rules, could be ppl staying in Dorm are inconsiderate and paid too much for hostel for sure. It should be 15 euro or less not 45 for location is too much.

Such a wonderful gem of a hotel. Ideal location, easy to reach from the airport via bus. Fabulous facilities, breakfast included and wonderful staff. Lockable cages below bunk beds (take your own lock). Great feel of community and friendliness. Would definitely stay here again.

The stuff is very nice and helpful. You find someone who can help you 24h. There are a lot of facilities such as luggage storage, hairdryers, lockers (you need your own padlock), restaurant..
Our roommates were very considerate and quiet, though they came back in the middle of the night and had to get up early.
The bus from/to the airport stops nearby.
You have to bring your own towels and padlocks.

Love Abbey Court Hostel. Love the accommodation - loved comfy, cosy, clean ensuite room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Love the area and convenience of its location (just off O'Connell Street). Loved the Yummy complimentary breakfast.

The staff was really nice and helpful. It was my first time staying at a hostel and now I can't wait to go back. Besides, the people at my room were really friendly, obviously that is going to change every time, but the general atmosphere of the place really helped out on that.
Honestly it didn't affect me at all, but one of the girls I met from my room was vegetarian, mostly staying off animal products in general for health reasons, and she had a bit of a hard time during breakfast because there was barely any options for her outside of toast and jam

Amazing place to stay when you are on budget. Rooms are simple but with everything you need (for a better stay don't forget to bring your own lock to keep your things safe in the provided closets, but you can also buy one here).
Breakfast is simple yet has a variety of options to satisfy your taste.
Staff is awesome! Warm welcome is guaranteed and they do their best to keep you social. We got just on time for ping pong tournament organized by Thran and it was super nice and fun! Sad that our stay was not long enough to participate in other events they organize here (movie nights, scavenger hunt, musical bingo, and more)
They also offered a great deal for pub crawling - you definitely have to try it - they know how to make your stay fun and show you around nice places!
The location is the gem on it's own and what made us choose it on the first place, but the atmosphere and welcoming people made our stay really great.
Beds are comfortable, just a bit squeaky but after a long day you don't care much
