A good, clean, pleasant room, friendly staff.
We were quite annoyed the information on parking costs was not presented in a clearer way at the time of booking. We knew it would be parking off-site, and a short walk, that was no problem. But we assumed - apparently erroneously - that the parking would be free once we checked out. This was not so; the sum we paid for the parking was quite hefty and, had we known that, we would have chosen a different hotel, more expensive, with parking facilities included.

I had a room on the top (5th) floor that faced onto the inner courtyard. There was no view, but there was no street noise either. The check-in process was efficient and courteous, and in spite of my criticisms I would consider staying at this hotel again.
Cleanliness was OK, but not perfect, and there was rot on the inside of the window. I might add that the fried/grilled foods (bacon, sausages, tomatoes and mushrooms) for breakfast had a strange and faintly unpleasant flavour,
