The lobby is nice
O Connell Street feels unsafe at this point. The bathrooms were very tired, old tired windows. The rooms just don't feel like a luxury hotel any more.

The staff is attentive and first rate
Having stayed many times over the last 3 decades I aas surprised that the food was basic. The vinyl flooring in the guest rooms is cheap, and projects noise all down the hallways to each room. It's awful and not even well laid.

Location was very central to all the downtown. Beautiful lobby area and historical site.
There is a stark contrast between the plush lobby and the institutional feel of the hallway to the room. It was echoing and bland. Any movement in this space was transferred directly to the rooms.

Disappointing
Good location. Everything else was subpar. They didn't even provide bottled water in the room, which was basic at other hotels we stayed at in Ireland.
