Loved the location as within walking distance of city centre and the Bord Gais theatre. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Area is quiet and got a great night's sleep. Staff were very pleasant to deal with, and breakfast was good.
Water in the shower next morning was not hot. Tepid at best. Stayed with another couple, and they had the same issue with shower in their room as well.

Gorgeous historic boutique hotel. Extremely comfortable bed. Very convenient for the city centre and free parking. Lovely restaurant. Helpful staff.

The hotel itself is lovely, full of character and obviously historical. The staff were lovely, as was lunch.
Breakfast was a little disappointing - options for continental were limited.
Also, the pillows were too high and firm, and I found them uncomfortable (I realise this is a personal preference)

We loved the character of this hotel, not your boring sterile hotel that you see everywhere.
Great car parking and about 20 min walk into Dublin City centre.
We enjoyed the bar and had a lovely lunch there, would recommend!
The staff were really nice and couldn’t have been more helpful. We will definitely be back again!

Although the hotel is a bit old and worn out, it has that historic charm. The room was fab and I loved the tiny windows. It was pleasantly warm in the room The bed was comfy and clean
It's not hipoallergenic. I had an allergic reaction to something in the room( my guess is carpet cleaning detergent) and it smelled like old furniture in the room,but If you're not too sensitive, it should be fine.

The cutest hotel! I didn't really want to stay in a regular hotel, I wanted something that looked more authentic to Dublin. The Schoolhouse Hotel was perfect! The room and bed was great, great service, and easy to find, with walking distance to so much downtown. I highly recommend!

Bedroom with patio lovely - bed very comfortable and the shower only fab! Lovely walk into town and had a lovely walk by the river ... beautiful!
Met by porter after concert, asked if there was any chance of a nightcap and was very curtly told no! it did not really matter as we chancing our arm but we felt we were being scolded like bold children !
