Location at train station. Helpful staff, good service. Taxis called for airport were on time, nice new cars, nice drivers and good price. Well appointed rooms in new section.
Classic rooms in old building don't have an elevator, but great bellmen promptly carry luggage at check in and pick up at time called. Classic rooms are different sizes. We stayed in a nice large one, but another one was small and cramped.

Extremely accommodating staff!
Double rooms in the old section vary as far as square footage. We booked 5 of them and they were all different!

Disappointing
Our room was clean and comfortable.
The lifts werent working so I had to take my 15kg suitcase up the stairs. There was also dirty linen on the stairs as we were coming down! We were too late for breakfast at 10.30 and had to find a staff member to make us a coffee! It was also very expensive.

Great hotel, with everything you needed. Loved the coffee machine! Staff were very helpful and friendly and great buffet breakfast.
There wasn't any guest book in the room with details of the hotel, WiFi, check out instructions etc.

Good
Comfortable rooms and beds. Lots of space for two people and two twin beds. The new spa looked nice but it cost an extra 20 and we didn't have a chance to try it. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Great stay in general.
Rooms could use some maintenance. We found some loose and missing handles on the furniture and shower, for example. Also found the shower to be small and finicky. We went to the restaurant in the lobby and it's pretty over priced for okay food and drinks. I'd suggest going elsewhere.

We enjoyed the location of the property the most. The hotel is located RIGHT by the train station and bus routes, you can get anywhere you need/want to go. The bonus, the hotel restaurant stays open until 11, serving food until about 950. Bonus because everywhere else in the area stops serving food between 6-7 oclock.
Use of the spa was definitely worth the upgrade to the CLUB room, it was clean and tidy every morning we went best to go in the morning because no one is there.
The breakfast ahhh, the breakfast just do it. Trust us. It was SO worth it. There were so many options.
And lets talk about the staff wonderful. Actually correction certain staff were great, others we werent super fond of (if you stay in the club rooms get ready for slamming doors starting at 7 AM; to be fair thats a mix of cleaning crew and guests).
However, Thierno, Isabell, Sean, and all of the breakfasts staff every morning (no one had name tags or we wouldve named them all) we cannot thank you enough for the amazing service we were provided. Thierno and Sean in the restaurant were extremely attentive to our needs, serving us the best drinks and food. And Isabell upon check in, even when she was busy, was extremely attentive and got us checked in in a very timely manor (she also said hi to us every morning when we were off for the day).
As we mentioned above, we werent super fond of the slamming doors throughout our time (as we were extremely jet lagged).
Another few minor things, we wouldve loved having drawers to place our clothing in and the elevators taking extended periods of time (to be fair, we probably needed the exercise).
Other than that, there were truly no major issues with this property.
Thank you for your information!
