Love the small cottage we stayed in. It has everything you need and you can park your car next to it so its easy for us to being our stuff from the cat to the cottage. Bonus: we saw aurora for the first time here right on top of the cottage!
The walls are pretty thin, we can hear the people staying next to us taking shower and talking.

Location is great for Aurora sighting. . We have seen a great Aurora Borealis just about 1000m away from the studio.
The bed for two is really narrow. Not wide enough for two. Cuttlery, forks, knives, were not cleaned. Shower has some rust issues in corners. Otherwise good..

Well equipped cabins with private kitchen and short drive to the sights in the area. We enjoyed having our own kitchen in the cabin and being able to cook our own meals. There was a lovely woman welcoming us and making sure we had everything needed, the owner was not present when we arrived.
I made the booking through my account on the booking.com which gave me discounts according to my genius status. The owner claimed that there was a problem with paying through the booking.com and we had to pay directly to the owner. In this way I lost the discount and had to pay more than agreed. When I explained this the owners reaction was not sympathetic which left a bad taste in our otherwise good stay in the place.

The guesthouse is clean and got all your need for a kitchen. Very cozy decorated, just feel like home. Staff is very good at communication.

Was in a convenient area between Vik and Jokursarlon. The apts are small but comfortable, nicely decorated, and well fitted out with most cooking utensils etc. We were there when there were gale force winds and felt safe and warm. As mentioned you can hear the neighbours but was not enough to prevent sleep. We were there a few days and were impressed by the amount of time the cleaners spent cleaning the units. Drive up to door is great.
They are quite expensive but there is not a lot of accommodation along the road..

Great location on the Ring Road between Vik and Glacier Lagoon, with spectacular drives in between. Friendly and efficient communication and a well-equipped cabin with parking right beside the door. A cosy evening cooking, good sleep and beautiful sunrise view.
There was a temporary problem with heating, but hosts v communicative about this and had already provided an electric heater so the cabin was perfectly warm very quickly.

It's a tiny cabin next to other cabins, though with sufficient space so no one was on top of anyone. Everything you needed was there: kitchen, bathroom, table, space
The beds weren't the best. They were odd and definitely could be better. They could make better use of the space by making a loft area.
