The location is excellent - right near Rainbow road and all the great pubs and restaurants. Rooms are modern and beautiful - the bathroom floor was heated :D There is a parking garage right across the road which is amazing too since parking can be tricky in Reykjavik.
I don't feel the breakfast was great or good value for money - especially since you couldn't even get a decent cappuccino with your meal. We were told they were understaffed and couldn't make machine coffees which I thought a tad bizarre.

Adored the central location - you are really in the heart of things here; the hotel is hip and happening - feels new, beautifully furnished with a huge emphasis on the aesthetic; big room, great bathroom; the front desk staff were great. Food was good.
I loved our room, and Id book it again, but this time Id wear ear plugs - the City does not sleep until 1-3 (a bit like New York) and the noise came through!

Reception staff were not friendly at all, lack of communication,and they didn't even ask about our experience at checkout.The room wasn't clean most of our stay.
