Very friendly staff and exceedingly knowledgeable about their city. Breakfast was adequate continental, the coffee excellent. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the main attractions.
There was a very bad smell coming from the shower drain in the bathroom.

Close to lots of attractions.
If youre sensitive to noise dont take a room on the side of the Irish pub. Could be loud on occasion. But they do supply earplugs for a good night sleep.

The location was fairly good for traveling the rest of the city. the walk from Bus Stop 14 was a fairly steep uphill, but then good for going back to the stop. Close to the main areas we wanted to see. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, though some unusual items (for us). Lots of hot water, of course. :) Good room darkening drapes. Not a fancy place but more than adequate.
The Standard room was small - functional but small. Same with the bathroom. Hard to regulate the temperature at times but turned out fine. Lights were not what we are used to (understandable), but not easy to figure out. Our room looked out over a cafe (?) area, which was noisy, but it closed early. Staff was efficient, though not overly welcoming.

Hotel localization is amazing (very closely to main attracions ie. Harpa, Sun Voyager, Laugavegur street, Hallgrmskirkja). Room was very comfy with all needs facilities. Awesome Wi-Fi connection. Delicious breakfast (sweet/salty snacks), fresh juices, vegetables, fruits, tasty coffee, fish. Friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks for reception heartly hospitality during my check-in and check-out and for interesting conversation and for take away coffee during my extremly early check-out! <3 :-) That's all made stay in Reykjavik unforgotable and forever will stay in my mind. I honestly recommended this hotel for all travelers! Takk fyrir sland! :-)

The hotel staff were uniformly excellent. The room was of a good size and well provisioned. The bathroom had a couple of quirks - but overall it was an excellent hotel for what we needed.
This hotel is located directly across the street from a loud bar. It has live, amplified music. They keep the doors open all night until they close at 1:00 am(2:00 on weekends). I dare you to get a wink of sleep under those conditions. It was like having a rowdy bar in our hotel room one of the e two nights we were there. If your plan is to stay out until the bars close, this will be no problem for you! The hotel is very convenient to lots of great night spots. Are you older and need to sleep? It is a serious issue.

Location of hotel is excellent...in the center, walking distance from restaurants, pubs and main street. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was nice, maybe not big variety, but quite enough for coupe of days.
