Location and convenience, plus the breakfast was so scrumptious! With lots of options for different dietary desires. I love scrambled eggs and it was grrreat to have them available every morning :)
Sooo noisy! The walls are thin and the hotel room doors all SLAM shut, not that guests were trying to but if you just let the door go it slams shut. With everyone?s adventures and the midnight sun it is really alarming to be woken up at all hours

If you want to be right in the center of Reykjavik this is the hotel for you! The staff are wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful! And the location-perfect. There is even a rooftop view which is amazing at night time.
The hotel room had a musty smell, which was very unpleasant. Overall for the price I expected the room to be clean smelling.

The location is amazing! I loved my view id the plaza, and enjoyed the convenient, and tasty breakfast downstairs. The staff is professional and courteous and gracefully deal with absolutely rude and disrespectful tourists, and I respect how they carry themselves in situations that I observed.
Oh! The ladies at the hotel bar made the most perfect espresso/cappuccinos! Thank you.

Central location. Modern hotel with friendly helpful staff. Awesome views of the surrounding area, mountains and sea. Excellent breakfast.
Not really anything tbh. Some furniture may need touched up but that is maintenance.

Size of the room was large and appreciated the tub in the bathroom.
The location was very central but being on the 2nd floor facing the street was very noisy on a Saturday night. However, playing ambient noise from my phone was helpful in drowning it out. Breakfast could have been better. The hotel was extremely busy.

We had a lovely room on the top floor with wonderful views of Reykjavik. The location was really good and we enjoyed being in the historic part of the city with easy walking distance to so many restaurants and sites of interest.
This is a busy hotel and we found breakfast quite crowded with staff struggling to keep up.
