Friendly staff, great location to walk into the centre of town.
Loads of parking space.
Comfy bed and clean room.
Can recommend.
Unfortunately, our booking was room only and the breakfast is expensive (20 per person) but likely to be the same at other hotels. Iceland is expensive for British travellers.

Nicely decorated

The reception chap wasnt over friendly on arrival and we had been upgraded to a four poster bedroom but I didnt really see it as an upgrade as I was with my 17 yo daughter and it was on the ground floor so a little noisy at times too.

Lovely comfortable hotel , bedroom was superb , comfy bed and great shower .
Also bar area had mixture of tables & chairs & comfy areas
Location was on edge of town and slightly uphill .

The interior design was nice and the toiletries were great.
The bed was a bit too soft for me, and the kettle was extremely dirty (someone had clearly cooked something inside it). The lighting was very dark even with many lamps

Without a doubt the best places to stay in downtown Reykjavik! Youre in walking distance to explore the city and are in the perfect location to be picked up for any excursions! We rented a car and there was plenty of parking for everyone. The rooms were comfortable and cosy. We absolutely loved the buffet breakfast and the staff were lovely always!

Great location away from the airport, very close to the good shopping streets of Skolavoroustigur and Laugavegur, and a 15 minute walk to Hallgrimskirkja. Very hospitable and helpful staff. Our room for three had a view of the home where Presidents Reagan and Gorbachev met to create a peace plan. We loved our stay! Beautifully decorated in a tasteful Icelandic theme. Free parking right in front of the hotel.
