The hotel was very comfortable and beautifully decorated - it was nice to walk through and was inviting to sit and relax in. The rooms were a good size, with a nice shower (good water pressure), shampoo, soap, a hair dryer, and even a mini-bar of items if you wanted to partake (we did not). There is an elevator, for those who need accessibility support (my husband just had surgery on his leg, so it was helpful to take the elevator rather than carry the weight of luggage on his healing knee. The staff was super friendly and were willing to provide local recommendations.
There wasn't anything in particular that we didn't like about this hotel - we would go back!

Lovely, elegant, and clean interior. Perfect location in city center with parking (rare for other city center hotels!). Outstanding breakfast. Exceptionally kind and attending staff!
Special thanks to the receptionist from the night shift during our stay who gifted us with a premium Secco bottle for my girlfriend's birthday. This was so generous and kind! I would always stay in this hotel when I go back to Reykjavik.
There was nothing to dislike.

Great location. Rooms desperately need an upgrade. Could hear the TV from the next room through the wall, and the shower running in the next room at 1 am! Rather overpriced.

Nice classy rooms, very good breakfast, great location. The staff was friendly and helpful, they let us leave our car at the parking lot after we have checked out.
Its a pity the restaurant is closed.

Beautiful art, lounge trendy. Great drinks but pricey! 2950 kronur for a Happy hour G&T I found a bit exorbitant even for Reykjavik.

Friendly staff.Always wearing a smile and willing to offer assistance and engage in a chat. Cozy little suite. Desk in room. 10-minute walk to tourist and business districts. Classical-style lobby and artwork. Scenic balcony.
A rooftop-connected balcony may make one feel a lack of privacy.
