Location is unbeatable. For those being picked up or dropped off, drop-off point 8 is about 5 minutes' easy walk away, next to Hallgrmskirkja (but there's no shelter there). Staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable with a pleasant view. Everything worked well.
The blind on the window could be better. It's pretty old and starting to deteriorate. Maybe replace with curtains?

Everything was wonderful! Gorgeous hotel in perfect central location. Fabulous breakfast and the restaurant was great in the evening, good food and cocktails. Plenty of toiletries in our room which were refilled daily. We had a junior suite, this had a fridge and also a Nespresso machine with some pods provided. Gorgeous fluffy towels and comfy beds.

This Hotel is a great location for walking around city and close to Bus stop 8 for tour pick up
this is something that is all over Iceland the tap smells of sulfur which locals say they dont smell

It's certainly very central... Which is a huge bonus if you want to explore the town. The rooms were a decent size and the bed was large enough. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.
The curtains didn't block the light, and the outlook from the window was to a service terrace facing windows of another building. The fitout was a little dilapidated too.

Great location, short walking distance from most sites in the city.
Very nice restaurant and bar downstairs, with great cocktails and very nice food.
Upon arrival I got a wonderful surprise and got upgraded from a single room, to a bigger double room, with a view to Halllgrimskirkja.
Highly recommend Hotel Odinsve and I hope to be back.
Not very varried breakfast, but ok and included in room rate.
