Central location. Easy walking to restaurants, tourist attractions etc. The breakfast buffet was good value by Icelands standards. The heated floor in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise.
The staff are eager to please.
No parking was a pain. Finding parking at night was difficult.
The housekeeping is not automatic which caused some confusion.

Located in the heart of the old town, right above an original settlement building. Breakfast was good and included many options. The room was a bit snug but quiet and comfortable.

nice room in center of city
cleaning the room is not automatically and you need tot tell upfront. the rooms are not cleaned. bathroom only towels were replaced. cleaning floors were not done. no parking possibilities or have a arranged discount somewhere near the Hotel

The staff was amazing.
Ella,, Julia and Sirry always greeted you with a smile and were pleasant and helpful. They are a delight. They made my trip so much easier booking tours and transportation.

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They offered me good tips, helped me with an early check in and were so friendly. The room was neat. The rooms did not have A/C but given the weather, that was not a problem. Windows opened for when I wanted to cool down after a hot shower.

location was great, near restaurants and shopping
wished we had option of breakfast included. This was an option for some. NB the hotel charged us in 38K in canadian dollars not 38K ISK.... took a few phone calls to have this corrected as the hotel blamed the bank, but it turned out to be the hotels fault.

Late night arrival reception was exceptional...welcoming and informative. The room was clean and comfortable...perfect in size for a single. Being able to purchase refreshments in the lobby was very nice. Breakfast was ample and delicious.
The mini fridge in room 422 was quite noisy.

Great location, nice room and bathroom. Good choices available for breakfast.
The double bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together so not exactly cosy for couples.
The hot breakfast was never hot, it was lukewarm at best and cold in part. Cold pancakes arent very tasty! We had breakfast at different times of the morning so found the hot breakfast to be consistently cold regardless of what time you turned up.
The room is only cleaned if you ask which yes is very green but does mean they dont keep an eye on levels of ie shampoo/body wash and toilet paper so you have to ask if you need more. Also, a really little thing, but no teaspoons on the provisions tray to stir your tea/coffee.
