Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. We walked to all of the attractions we were interested in - no walk was more than 25 minutes.
No microwave in room or available elsewhere in the hotel and no table in our room. A microwave would have been nice to help defray the high cost of dining out that is a factor in Reykjavik. The room did have a mini-frig.

The heated floor in the bathroom was amazing! Staff very friendly and helpful. The museum of the Viking longhouse was a really addition and we really enjoyed finding out more about the history of the area.

The location is terrific—just two blocks from Bus Stop #1 where most tours pick up their customers. Shops and restaurants are nearby, and most major sights are within walking distance.
The staff members were quite helpful with dining suggestions and discount coupons. They also explained how to use the city buses and where to see the northern lights without leaving the area.
No negatives.

Location, heart of downtown.
It was so loud at night! People yelling (drunks), loud music from the bars nearby. Cars honking!
Shower needs a new shower head like Yesterday!!

We had a nice stay, and we were glad a room was available after Icelandair cancelled our flight.
We did not plan on staying in Reykjavik but needed to book a room quickly after Icelandair cancelled our flight. The room and breakfast were more expensive than expected, but that appears to be true for most of Reykjavik.

Hotel is situated perfectly for downtown Reykjavik, easily walkable to everything we wanted to see and parking was also easily accessible given the hotel do not have any. The staff were really helpful, the room was clean and well equipped and we would certainly consider booking again if we return to the City.

The LOCATION !!! And the history behind the area with the Settlement Exhibit underground which the Hotel could better promote! Breakfasts were great.
And very impressed with the complimentary breakfast prepared for us to take on a very early morning tour departure. We travel extensively ever had that option.
