extremely ordinary perfect place outstanding and unbelievable location quiet and peaceful the outdoor pool with thermal water was relaxing and using it every night an absolutely SUPERHOST and for this price difficult to find in Italy stuff was very kind and helpful and.. my 2 Australian Shepherd were welcome will come again ASAP

We booked for a double room, and in fact got an apartment with 2 bedrooms, sitting room, bathroom, shower room and 3 toilets - as well as a separate enormous dining room and kitchen!!! This was far more than expected. The staff were really helpful. We enjoyed the excellent spa, both inside and outside, and were grateful for the free use of bicycles.
We took up the offer of a wine tasting, which Sylvia managed really well, with 3 wines sampled, some snacks and an excellent explanation. However, there was no mention, in either the room information nor when booking, that there was a cost for this at 15 per person. This was a reasonable cost - but we felt that we should have been told this in advance, rather than charged unexpectedly afterwards. A small point, but it would be good if the bicycles had locks on them, as we did not feel comfortable leaving them anywhere, so this limited our outing a bit as we had to keep with them.

It was set in beautiful natural surroundings and ideal for dog walks. We also enjoyed the vicinity of Padova with its impressive cultural and historical sites. The city was also perfect for a shopping spree and dotted with many good bars and restaurants. The Castello was just the right mix of stylish, yet rustic accomodation for us as a family. The well-kept pool area with thermal tubs outside and a lot of space were much appreciated. The invitation to pick fruit and vegies from the orchard made us feel even more welcome and at home! The best was the lovely view & the open fire place ... of course accompanied by a bottle of wine from the Castello itself! There is so much more to do and see: Ritorniamo sicuramente...
The woollen blankets were dusty and caused asthma and/ or allergic reactions
