Wonderful
Definitely the strategic location - right at the centre of the downtown ! Thanks to the hotel person sharing a list of recommended eating spots for travelers , very helpful !
We stayed in a suite accommodating 5 pax - having the toilet separating the bathroom by itself is not very convenient

Exceptional
The location was excellent for exploring downtown. The team at reception went out of their way to make our group feel welcome -- for example with itinerary suggestions, contacts for transporation rental, even advice on where to get a birthday cake!! We couldn't have asked for better hospitality.

Wonderful
Kind staff, close and central location. Great room size and amazing personable service. For getting us to and from airport. They help with money exchange and great information for food among other things. The location is very Arabian Jordanian experience with a nice touch of decorations and the rooftop breakfast is very nice also.
The property is on stairs. The way the city is set up on hills so you have to climb stairs with bags to get to the reception and the hotel can be a little hard to find but all in all it was a great location and stay

Good
The breakfast was filling: omelet, bread, cookies, hummus, other messe, coffee, orange juice. The view from the dining room was nice as it was on the 7th floor. The place was clean and the TV and A/C worked well. The bed was comfortable. The afternoon/night front desk person (Bessam) and the breakfast lady (Zainab) were friendly and helpful. Best of all, it is located downtown close to many sites (Roman ruins, public market) and the price was right (about $32/night). Internet was strong and lobby was comfortable and welcoming.
The lobby was not at street level. You have to climb up about 15 steps to get to the lobby entrance. Disabled or old folks may have some difficulty. I went to the front desk and asked for help with suitcases while husband stayed to watch them. If traveling solo, this would be difficult. The bathroom is not really built for a shower. There was no separation except curtain and the toilet and floor would get wet. We didn’t take showers during our 2-night stay, which was inconvenient. There is not much surface space on which to put personal items. It’s an old hotel (so not updated and shows its age) but it was clean.

The staff were friendly, the location was convenient, and the cleanliness, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and breakfast were all satisfactory. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The fridge in the room was very small and noisy, the bathroom was cramped with signs of mold, and the shower handle did not function properly. The building itself is quite old with noticeable cracks, the elevator did not always work reliably, and the room felt too tight. Overall, while some aspects were good, the facilities do not match the price paid.

Good value, excellent location, and friendly staff
Unfortunately, when I used the shower, water leaked all the way to the bed. The bathroom was quite small, and the drainage wasn’t good

Good location, very central near citadel and Roman theater, surrounded by shops and restaurant. Good value for the money . Kettle, coffee and extra water. Fridge, toiletries , Breakfast is decent and freshly cooked eggs every day. Fresh fruits and bread. Enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

The staff is unbelievably helpful and kind. They made many efforts to accommodate our brief visit to Jordan. Also they were so welcoming and made us feel like honored guests! The location is perfect -- close to many sites such as the Amman Citadel and the theater, and also a really lively shopping district.
The facility is a bit old, but I liked the renovated bathroom
