We were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was enormous! It was nicely decorated and had a modern feel. The bathroom was spacious and we had hot water - something we hadn't had in other hotels we'd stayed in. The toiletries were lovely too. The hotel is within walking distance of some great restaurants but I think you'd need to get a taxi to the main square in the Medina.
The pool area was a bit tired and could do with a refurbish - it certainly doesn't look like it does in the photos. We didn't get a chance to experience the spa. The room at night was very noisy - from noise outside and from the room above. It didn't help that we'd just been through the earthquake so weren't sleeping very well. Breakfast was adequate but as we had to leave early they were still bringing out food as we were finishing.

Rooms were nice. Good size, nice balcony, decor etc. Location was great. Breakfast was also nice. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful.
Spa downstairs. Massage wasn't great, we got a couples massage and the two masseuses chatted to each other while massaging us, they turned lights off and on multiple times, stopped massaging, went in and out of the room multiple times, chatted loudly outside. Wasn't very relaxing. Was supposed to be an hour but at least a third of that we weren't being massaged.
Rooftop bar. Ordered a glass of red wine, they brought out freezing glass of red with ice in it. Ordered tea at the same time, wine was brought out very quickly and we thought they'd forgot about the tea, as we were about to leave (say 30 minutes later) it came out.

The hotel was really nice and the staff were so amazing . A big shout out to the general manager who made sure I was comfortable. And to all the kitchen staff . And to the bartender Mohammed and to Mohammed on the 5th floor and lastly to Soufian the kitchen director . My stay was amazing and I hope to be back again .

I had a fantastic stay at BAB Hotel Marrakech! The team, including Mohamed, Karim, Youcef and the all staff, went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. Their attentive service, warm hospitality, and dedication truly stood out. From the moment I checked in until I left, I felt well taken care of. The attention to detail, the comfortable accommodations, and the all contributed to a memorable stay. I highly recommend BAB Hotel to anyone visiting Marrakech they have an amazing team that knows how to make guests feel truly welcomed and valued.

Location to the high street is 1 minute work.
The staff were friendly and kind.
All travellers should ask of the lady called Lamia. She is exceptionally kind and English speaking.
Breakfast is excellent.
The elevators could do with an AC.

From the outside the hotel looks nice and you might get the feeling that it is going to be a good stay while you are waiting for check in at the lobby. So far that is the only close to positive thing.
From the start I was given a different room from one that Ive booked. It resembled nothing like on the pictures from booking. There are no words to describe how poor the hygiene is! Absolute shame! The bed is so hard and uncomfortable that my body went numb after only 2 minutes. After a short talk to Naima (I hope that is her name, I apologise if it is spelled wrong) I got the right room. The bed was a bit better but the hygiene was not. For the hotel that has 4 stars and calls itself De luxe the management MUST do better! The staff is nice, they do try their best even though you can see on them how tired they are and how uncomfortable it is for them that guests complain about many things. If you decide to eat food from the restaurant, try a different restaurant in town, or perhaps you will enjoy the food, the taste is individual after all. Breakfast was good especially the eggs that were made by a guy (he didnt have a name tag but he deserves all the compliments). To summarise, once you are inside the room you will realise that the pictures of hotel on booking were nothing more than a bait. I sincerely hope that the management will do something about it, renovate perhaps..or cut the prices in half because those price for that hotel are not realistic. This is just a constructive feedback and it is not directed to judge any of the staff. And please, do not charge people for water!

Front desk staff really where the highlight of my staff. Very accommodating, warm and friendly. Lamia and Karim really make you feel that Moroccan hospitality. Room and beds are larger than other properties considered
The spa is a sham, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The Spa staff are very friendly but the facilities is nothing to write home about. Even the oils used for the bath smell weird and there is no hot steam experience during the hammam. Terrible! For similar prices you can treat yourself real hamman in a luxurious spa close to old Medina. The spa is dark, old, the massage beds have seen better days. No worth it at all.
