Had a wonderful stay at Riad Assakina . A place which is an architectural delight and which is enhanced by the warm welcome of the hosts Michelle and Grant . Michelle is a wonderful host always willing to suggest and plan different itenearies during the stay . Always available to take requests and give suggestions for Restaurants , trips etc . Most of the reviews highlight the friendly and helpful nature of the hosts and that emphasizes the point . The Riad is centrally located with easy access to all the major attractions and has been tastefully decorated with intrique details . Great Interiors and well maintained rooms .There is double rooftop to enjoy the breakfast in the morning . Her small boutique is worth a visit . If visiting Marrakesh think no further and book at Riad Assakina for a enjoyable stay . Definitely recommend it .

We loved our short stay at Riad Assikina. The area is extremely central and we could walk everywhere within the Medina. The staff were unbelievably friendly and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately our visit was cut short due to the earthquake, and we would love to return some day. But while we stayed and during the stressful scary earthquake the staff at the Riad were amazing and supportive and made sure everyone was safe and looked after.
I liked everything! The pool is in the shade so was quite cold.

Amazing 4 nights in Riad Assakina. We booked last minute so all that was available was the downstairs cosy double but this provided more than enough space for 2 with comfortable bedding and en suite bathroom. Delicious local and a la carte breakfast was served in the morning, with mint tea and cake in the afternoon. The location was within 15 mins walk of Jemaa al Fna and the beginning on the Souks. There is a multilevel rooftop terrace to relax away from the chaos of the square and souks. The property and location are 5* but what really sets this riad far beyond the rest is the exceptional warm welcome and service from Michelle, Grant and all the staff. Michelle was always available to provide local recommendations on attractions and dining options, and assisted with making reservations or booking taxis when needed.

The owners Grant and Michelle made our visit. They arranged transportation to and from the airport, hired a driver for a day trip to the Atlas Mountains/Berber villages, and provided maps and tips for other activities. We had a delicious Tapas dinner there one night and breakfast every morning was freshly prepared and phenomenal. Their knowledge and insight about Marrakesh was so helpful. The staff were very friendly and wonderful at their jobs. The Riad was beautiful and gorgeously furnished and included a roof top patio with views and breezes.

Its difficult to get better hosts than Michele and Grant who are thinking and acting for you , before you do , on how will you spend your day, evening and dinner (and how will you get there). Great riad, rooms (very comfy beds) and top breakfast!

Riad is in a fantastic location, furnished in a fantastic style in every small details, amazing property! Excellent care and attention from Michele and Grant and their team, which I have never seen before. Much more than what you see in the pictures and you expect! I will definitely come back here!

Property was gorgeous, well maintained, and lots of places to sit and relax. The food & beverage service was excellent. The staff was so accommodating! The owner helped us plan out every moment and had such good recommendations as well as information to help us feel comfortable in our shopping, hammam, and cooking class!
The bed was very hard.

Riad Assakina is ideally located within and easy walk to all the major sights. Its very stylish with beautiful designs, yet also extremely comfortable and exceptionally cared for by the staff. Michelle is a wealth of knowledge and gave terrific advice on where to visit, shop, and dine. Trust her! She made our visit to Marrakech easy and fun! Her staff were superb. The food was very fresh and scrumptious. I researched TONS of Riads and consider myself extremely lucky to have stayed here.

The owner Michele and staff are an amazing and friendly team who would help in any way if needed. The riad and atmosphere were beautiful and a testiment to the dedication of everyone involved. I would not stay anywhere else for a return trip and hope one day this will be the case. The location is ideal ..not too close to the main square but a good walk along different souks to get there. Lots of great eateries within easy walking distance and a return to a very safe feeling riad. Michele and her team are a very caring team that want you to enjoy your stay....and you will!
The weather! Most of the trip wasnt the usual Marrakech weather (wet and windy).....cant be helped but plenty to do and see.

Very friendly and attentive people. Reception was like coming home. Good tips what to do and where to eat. Breakfast was fantastic, dinner too. Everything is within walking distance or a taxi will be arranged for you. In short: A very pleasant Riad in every way

Loved everything!!! Michele and Grant are the most amazing hosts, incredibly friendly and helpful. The Riad itself is beautiful and situated in the quiet area of the Medina (Mellah).Breakfast was delicious and so were the complimentary cakes served in the afternoon with tea. All the other staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Michele is full of very useful tips and she has a beautiful little boutique of her own designs within the premises of the Riad. Highly recommend this place. Thank you again Michele and Grant!
