The owners pay meticulous attention to detail keeping the Riad Azoulay authentic Moroccan - from the decor to the food. The cook is outstanding and we had two dinners there as well as every breakfast. The staff is kind and attentive - especially Yasmin who we now consider our friend .
The busy spice market is right outside , but once youre inside the Riad Azoulay its an oasis of peace and calm . We even spent an entire day just relaxing there before our afternoon excursion . There is a standard pick up spot very close to the Riad for tours . I was so sad to leave Riaz Azoulay and highly recommend staying there - I would stay there again .
The beds were a little hard . But I still slept well.

this is a lovely place to stay in Marrakech. Still in the old city (Medina) but not too close to all the touristy places, but all in walking distance. The staff is very friendly and they try tu fulfill every wish you have. We not only had breakfast but also dinner on some evenings there. Much more worth the money than many places in the city. We will come back and highly recommend the place

My stay at this hotel in Marrakech was truly memorable, primarily due to its stunning property and exceptional rooms which were beyond superb. What stood out the most was the warmth and kindness of the staff who went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay.
The approach to the hotel can feel a bit uneasy, especially after dark. The area leading to the hotel may seem slightly sketchy, which might be a concern for some travelers.

great the rustic vibes. the staff was great. we stayed at a suite amenities were great. big room bed showers bathroom. A quiet relaxing Riad if you want to escape people .
not very close to the main Medina about -10-15 walking to the main areas. the breakfast could be better more protein but seems like an issue with many hotels . Pool is bit cold but nevertheless it looks beautiful.

The peacefulness contrasts with the hustle and bustle of the streets we felt like we were at home.
Its was the true Marrakesh Riad with a touch of glamour.

The whole experience staying here was wonderful - one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff were fantastic and kind, the riad itself is beautiful. Food was excellent - we did a cookery class at the riad too and learnt lots! As two girls staying, it was perfectly tucked around a little lane beside the markets, so it was nice and quiet, incredibly peaceful, yet felt more than safe to walk to it at night time. Would absolutely stay again if ever back in Morocco!!

We stayed in Morocco for 2 weeks all in different riads. On the last 2nights we decided to pick this riad. This riad was the most expensive out of all the other ones we stayed at and we thought the service would be the same. But oh boy were we wrong. Ill start with the pros of this riad: beautiful riad and clean rooms. The kid working at the service desk was nice and he made our stay somewhat nice but everything else was a cash grab here.
everything at this riad is somehow monetized and in euros! You want eggs for breakfast? Youd think that by asking for it and getting them would be no problem until you check out and they slap a few extra euros for breakfast, you want some water? Thats another few euros. Everything at this riad just seemed like a transaction. We didnt have this experience at any other riads. breakfast here was not that great vs what you could get at other riads, the location is also not ideal - this area gets very sketchy after 8/9PM whereas riads close to Jemaa el Fnaa square are more lively and things are open late night.

Cleanliness, the staff, service, the roof top, locally made evening meals if you informed the chef in advance, and of course the location. Very close to the Bahia Palace and within walking distance of the Jemaa El-Ina square.
