The staff were great - so kind, attentive and helpful! Centrally located, clean, nice breakfast served in the lobby.

Very welcoming and helpful staff

The staff was very attentive and helpful with our needs. We liked that they accommodated our early checkout and gave us breakfast even then. The location of the Riad itself is adequate, given that it is located within the Medina and a walkable distance from restaurants like Les Jardin. It's also a plus that the Riad is not in a noisy area. We also loved their friendly cat that kept following us around.

The location is great - everything you need in Marrakesh is of walking distance! The place is beautiful and they cleaned your roofs everyday. The staff was also amazing and welcoming especially Faouzi - he was so attentive to our needs and made our stay very pleasant!

Najeb and Fauzi made this stay extra special for us. They were incredibly helpful, providing us with water and even insisting on making us breakfast at 6:30 a.m. when we had to leave early for day trips! The raid is clean and quiet and the breakfast is delicious. We were welcomed with delicious Moroccan tea and had the chance to have breakfast on the terrace which was gorgeous.

Oh, this Riad was truly magical. We stayed at this Riad five days after the earthquake, and we werent quite sure about coming and the only reason we came was this Riad seemed like paradise, and Im so happy that we did come from the moment we walked in they treated us like family to the next day, where they were waiting with an amazing breakfast. The rooftop was exceptional. Our room was amazing. The service was impeccable from room service to every aspect of service. We even dined in one night in the Riad and it was like eating at a family members home. Nijab and Faouzi treated us like family, Nijab even arranged a last minute trip for us to Ourika to hike to a waterfall to camel rides and also dined riverside. I wish I wouldve taken a picture of the room. We had a lounge area huge bathroom a fireplace is unbelievable. cant wait to come back!

The staff at Riad Dar Ourika were absolutely fantastic. They looked after us thoroughly, particularly during the earthquake. Massive thank you to Fauzi and Najeeb who put us before themselves constantly.

The riad is an authentic, charming gem of a place in the old city. The service was above and beyond with Fauzi and Najid (please correct me if Ive spelled it wrong) making our stay welcoming and filled with the classics youd expect from a Riad. The breakfasts, taken in a tall courtyard laden with plants, changed every day with a new cake and type of pancake - which was always delicious. The friendly cat would also pay you a visit from time to time, especially at breakfast. Fauzi and Najid walked with us out of the Riad to show us their favourite restaurants, taking time to walk us through the local customs (I.E set a price first, dont ask for or accept directions from locals on the street, only using restaurants, police or tour guides), and annotating maps with the best sights. They were both so dutiful, and one of my favourite memories is being brought authentic Moroccan mint tea on the rooftop terrace at dusk. In particular we built up a great rapport with Fauzi who was so lovely, genuine, kind and warm, always going out of his way to help. The whole experience was brilliant, both Fauzi and Najid were professional even in challenging circumstances where, when the earthquake hit the city, they got us to safety and they stayed with us all night as well as getting us water and food. Riad Dar Ourika is a stunning building, but what makes it truly memorable is Fauzi and Najids exceptional service. Only thing we would say is that we found it quite difficult to find, not helped by us arriving in Marrakech at dusk. Taxis will drop you at the end of Rue dar el Bacha and tell you its straight ahead, but you actually need to go straight ahead, then left where the paths cross, then left down an alleyway marked Derb Ouayhah and the follow the painted signs to the Riad. Once youve found it, its a haven.

It's been an amazing experience, the staff is stunning, i will always remember the welcome we had by Faouzi the first day, offering us some tea, explaining us everything and giving all the info we needed. Faouzi and Najib, always super kind, helped, assisted and took care of us all along our journey perfectly, they are very precious people. Super beautiful and clean riad, all the staff is amazing from cleaning ladies to the hammam girl, her mother and the henn girl as well. Good breakfast, very very suggested for everything.

We had an absolutely fantastic week in the Riad. Najib took the best possible care of us all week, spoiling us with delicious breakfast with flexible hours, giving us insider tips and organizing great activities. The Riad is well located in the heart of the city, easy and close to walk anywhere. We had very comfortable beds in a nice room, all in a very nice ambiance. He really made our vacation a memory for lifetime with such kindness and commitment to all guests. We will for sure come back in the future.

Amazing staff, very very friendly and helpful, they had some water problems on the first day so I stayed in the other Room than I booked, but then they upgraded me to this extremely beautiful Room on the roof level. The breakfast was suuuper yummy, we asked to have it on the terrace, the view is great. Location is also awesome.

What an amazing experience in this Riad! Najib took care of us from the very first minute, so we can say that we felt at home very quickly. The morning we arrived, Najib offered us a magnificent breakfast before going to explore the city, which we consider a lovely gesture that the majority of hotels do not offer. He was there all the time to help us out. The Riad is so beautiful and so well located, less than ten minutes walk from Jemaa el-fna square. Moreover, the breakfast included in the price was unbelievably freshly made every morning. All in all, a great experience that made our visit to Marrakesh even more special.

Najib was extremely friendly and helpful even though we were only there for one day ! He helped bring all 3 heavy luggages up the room but not just that he also walked it to the taxi away from the riad . He made it very easy and comfortable even though it was an overnight stay

Beautiful traditional Riad with great accessibility to sound and square

A very authentic Riad. The hospitality, help and kindness of Faouzi was amazing. He helped us to get used to Marrakech and nothing was too difficult. He is an asset to the hotel. The young man, Abdillah, was very helpful getting is sim cards and showing us where the ATM was, etc. Najib, who worked on our last day was also very kind and helpful. I have never experienced such amazing hospitality and Faouzi's ability to explain how things work in Marrakech was great! Text the hotel when you arrive and they will come and walk you to the Riad. It was a peaceful Oasis in the middle of the vibrant and busy Medina. Faouzi was also an amazing cook and the breakfasts included were large and delicious. He also cooked dinners for us and offered to teach us how to make certain dishes. The ladies who cleaned the room had such attention to detail, even rolling up my phone charger into a tidy little ball! A fabulous stay. Thank you so much!
