The breakfast was always in abundance and delicious. The staff took the whole experience to the top, always tentative and catering to our every need with such hospitality. Any reservations we were looking for they handled it and got us great views

Very friendly staff that were incredibly helpful. The property is a traditional guest house and you are treated like a long lost friend or family member. It was lovely. They left us to our own devices but were there to interact and help when needed. Lovely breakfast which could be taken on the roof terrace. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The location felt safe and the accommodation was locked at all times.

The manager and all the hotel staff were very welcoming and ready to assist with any request or question at anytime. They arranged my airport transfer and my driver waited patiently despite my flight to Marrakech being delayed by 1 hour and the 1 hour wait time on the customs line. All the hotel staff, including Abdul and Nadja, were very attentive and happy to answer any questions. Wadia, the manager, is easily reached via whatsapp and he also takes the time to meet with each of the guests and provides them with highly useful information on navigating the area around us. The staff speak English, French, Classical Arabic, and of course Darija (Morrocan Arabic). Wifi is great. Your complimentary breakfast could be served at anytime during the day because guests may not be able to wake up before 12pm due to jetlag. It's about a 20 minute walk (depending on your walking speed) from Jemma el-Fnaa square. But it's within the old city and you can explore all the narrow streets with shops and eateries. If you wish to relax within the riad, it has a pool, rooftop seating with shade, and also spa treatments to try. There are many places to dine out but the food at the riad is just as delicious- just be sure to let staff know you plan to eat lunch or dine there in the morning. The whole riad by itself is beautifully decorated and the environment serene.
More of a suggestion than a dislike- some travelers might want a mini fridge in the room to store any foods or drinks they might have brought to eat or drink for later. I see how it can ruin the authentic Morrocan aesthetic of the room but perhaps it can be hidden in one of the closets. However, I'm sure if you asked the staff to store it perhaps in their resturaunt's fridge it wouldn't be a problem either.

Breakfast was amazing and one of my favorite parts of my stay. Staff was friendly and comforting. Property is one of the older riads in Marrakech and absolutely beautiful. Staff was also very helpful with arranging taxis and excursions, making sure I was on time to everything, I loved it!
Location was a bit hard to find/get to.

Our recent stay at the Riad Hikaya was nothing short of magical, thanks to the warm welcome and continuous care from our host, Abdo. From the moment we arrived, Abdo was incredibly hospitable and attentive, ensuring that our visit was both comfortable and memorable. Both Abdo and Wadia were eager to share valuable insights about Marrakesh, helping us to fully immerse ourselves in the local culture and attractions. The Riad itself captivated us with its authentic Moroccan ambiance. Every corner of the space spoke of tradition and artistry, from the beautifully designed rooms to the handmade decor and the stunning bathrooms. It truly felt as if we had been transported into the heart of Morocco. Each morning, we were treated to an authentic breakfast prepared by the lovely staff, featuring a variety of traditional dishes that were both delicious and a delightful enhancement to our overall experience. A particularly sweet touch was the beautiful gift we received upon our departure, which made us feel like we were not just guests, but family. This gesture left a lasting impression on us and made our farewell even more special. I highly recommend staying at this Riad to anyone looking to experience genuine Moroccan hospitality in an environment that beautifully reflects the country's rich cultural heritage.

Phenomenal staff! The level of service was 10/10. The best hospitality Ive ever experienced. Daily breakfast was fantastic, highly recommend doing the exfoliate bath & massage spa package.
Room was too dark on the first floor, needs more lighting.

Riad Hikaya is a beautiful Riad, the dcor is stunning and the indoor pool and loungers on the roof were very welcome after a long day walking in the town and around the souks. Wadia and his team are exceptional, he really went the extra mile to ensure all our expectations were met, from booking airport transfers to arranging a tour guide and booking restaurants for us. Nada always welcomed us on the roof for breakfast with a beautiful smile, the breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruits, yoghurts, pastries and hot food if you desired - sets you up for the day. The Riad is about a 10-15 min walk from the main square but the walk up there is an experience in itself, you get the feeling of real Marrakesh. Highly recommend a stay at this place.
Nothing really! The place was great and I would definitely return there. The Riad is at the lower end of the Kasbah and we enjoyed being outside of the main area as it was quieter.

Perfect location, great ambiance of the traditional riad. You can relax straight away by having a breakfast at the rooftop or just lie down on one of the sunbeds. The staff were wonderful, friendly and always paying attention to us.
The bed mattress could be firmer.

The Riad itself was beautiful, so many details everywhere, alot of hard work went in to this place. Also loved the location, felt like real Marrakech, not overly touristy but still close enough to the main attractions. I would recommend to stay at this Riad for a trip to Marrakech!
