If I could rate this place higher than 10 I would. It is nestled on a quiet street in the medina and Isabelle, the owner, made arrangements for me so that I wouldn't get lost trying to find it. The riad is gorgeous. It is beautifully decorated and no detail is overlooked. Towels and room smelled amazing! When does that happen in a guest house. Breakfast is included and it's wonderful. I also ate dinners there and the chicken and apricot tagine was out of this world. I also took advantage of the hammam and massage offered on site. Don't miss this experience! Isabelle, Said and Sana were always available whenever assistance was needed. Looking forward to staying there again!

We stayed at Riad Hizad for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The riad is stunning — beautifully designed, calm, and tucked away from the busy medina streets, making it the perfect place to unwind after exploring the city.
The staff were all so kind and attentive, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. We had dinner at the riad every night because it was just that good — the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
We also treated ourselves to a traditional hammam and massage, and it was such a special experience — relaxing, authentic, and truly rejuvenating. Everything about our stay felt personal and thoughtful.
If you’re looking for a quiet, elegant escape with exceptional food and warm hospitality, Riad Hizad is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to come back!

Location, staff, and property were all five star. Would highly recommend Riad Hizad to anyone visiting Marrakesh for one day or one week. The beautiful roof top terrace was a pleasant place for morning breakfast and evening wind downs.

The staff were very kind and hospitable. They arranged the car for us in a timely manner.
The shower doesn't have much power. Maybe that can't be helped. Also, the room is too dark. Is that normal in a riad?

Isabelle was an amazing host. Everything was clean, and she was always available to assist in helping us navigate Marrakech. Hamza always took good care of us, and the two women who kept the place spotless were always ready to help out if needed (I apologize, and I'm embarrassed, for not remembering names!). Highly recommend using their hotel sponsored taxi service from the airport if you are unfamiliar with Marrakech. By day 2, we were able to find our way to the main square easily. Also, by all means, take them up on their meal service for at least one meal - the cooking was fantastic! We honestly felt like we were leaving family when we left. We hope to visit sometime again! Thank you so very much!

Absolutely everything! The riad is gorgeous, calm, charming, and so peaceful. Isabelle welcomed us like old friends, and her team was super kind and attentive. Every detail was just perfect.

Beautiful room and exquisitely appointed. We particularly loved the double bathroom, shower and soaking tub. Breakfast on the terrace was also perfect. The entire Riad is lovely, and everyone was thoughtful and helpful. By far the best Riad we enjoyed in Marrakech! Highly recommended.
The bed was a little lumpy. Otherwise excellent: large, nice heavy comforter and great pillow selection.

Roof top pool was amazing, staff so friendly and welcoming, helpful. Isobelle arranged a private return taxi for us to Agafay which worked wonderfully. Location is 10 min walking distance to medina square, and right off the souks so a nice oasis to the bustling life below. Near some local shops and restaurants - very cheap to eat and also for water etc.
All the staff went above and beyond for us and truly cannot fault them. They were kind, organised and did everything they could do for us to enjoy our stay.
They also serve beer which for us was a big perk, to enjoy by the poolside in the afternoon
Although the riad was close to the main square, it was through some narrow streets only accessible by walking through souks.
Which is fine, but after ~9:30pm we found out the main exit closes and we ended up asking a local to help us find the route, which he demanded a tip. In general, can be a bit unnerving when clearly a tourist. We were happy to be back. Day time is fine and safe.
I think a lot of riads are in the narrow medina streets, but as you can’t get a taxi there directly you may get dropped and then find yourself walking through the same. We made sure we left the restaurant by 9pm the next night so we didn’t encounter the same.

This is such a beautiful riad in a quieter part of the Medina but with a 5 minute walk you are in the middle of everything. It is very convenient and relaxing. Sayed told us the first day ‘this is your home’ — I wish my home was this beautiful! But they really mean it— you feel very comfortable there from the very beginning.
It is perfect. We would not change anything.

This Riad is beautiful, our room had everything we could have required and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast each morning includes coffee, juice and a selection of hot and cold items.

Loved the location perfect to take a break during the day on the rooftop from the hustle and bustle of the Medina.. bedroom was beautiful and comfortable. Staff both Sana and Sied could not do enough for us, booking taxis, restaurants whatever we needed.. This made our stay all the more relaxing and enjoyable..

Absolutely beautiful Riad.room was gorgeous ,and the breakfast each morning up on the roof terrace was fabulous,including divine freshly squeezed orange juice .Sana and Sayid were very helpful,and nothing was too much trouble .It was an oasis to return to after each day .
As with most riads in Marrakech,it is hard to find ,down a little narrow street.Sana was very helpful organising taxis and tuk tuks for us.once you got your bearings it was easy

We loovvvveeed our stay here.
Isabelle, Sa’id, the rest of the staff at Riad Hizad went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and like it was our home. They were so lovely, helpful and attentive.
The room was gorgeous and so clean.
The roof terrace was such a lovely little escape after a busy day exploring the busy and vibrant area. It was an oasis and a sun trap in the afternoon which was beautiful.
We had a yummy breakfast served every morning on the terrace including, French toast, local breads, fruit etc
Riad Hizad is brilliantly located and walking distance to some amazing places to eat drink and explore
We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. And if and when we come back to Marrakech, we know exactly where we’ll be staying again!

We chose Riad Hizad after reading quite a lot of reviews of the many excellent riads in the city. We were delighted with our choice. Sana and Said are wonderful hosts - they are kind, attentive and did everything they could to make our stay memorable. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which has a lovely internal courtyard balcony and an excellent bathroom. Breakfasts were served on the beautiful roof terrace each morning - always varied and delicious. The roof terrace was a great place for catching the February afternoon sun. Overall Riad Hizad is an oasis of calm and beauty just steps from the hustle of the medina.

Excellent from start to finish. Being able to enjoy the rooftop for sunbathing was a big plus. Staff were wonderful throughout, very grateful for this oasis away from the hustle and bustle.
