Le Medina Privilge Riad & Spa is an exquisite oasis in the middle of the surrounding chaos. The Riad is beautifully decorated, quiet and safe. But what probably sets this Riad aside from the countless other places to stay is the staff. Mohamed went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. He walked with us to help us orientate ourselves in the busy surrounding streets, took us to get a local SIM card (vital as Marrakesh is a warren of streets, so Google Maps is helpful), made restaurant and massage bookings and gave us sightseeing tips so that we made the most of the few days we had. He also moved us to another room that had better air-conditioning (it was a sweltering 48 degrees). This room was phenomenal! We unfortunately didn't get the try the on-site restaurant as the chef was on leave (despite us having booked our anniversary dinner here 6 weeks ahead and having chosen meals, as per management request). I am sure it would have been incredible based on what breakfast was like. Every day a little different and super delicious. Said joined the team the day of our departure and was also wonderful.
What isn't apparent when booking this Riad (or any in the area) is that it is not directly accessible by taxi. This is important as we arrived at 1am after flight delays. We were fortunate enough to have a kind taxi driver who walked in the dark with us to the Riad, but even he got lost. The area isn't the best and there are lots of shady characters looking to make money off lost tourists, so make sure you book a taxi through booking.com, as you get a set price and direct contact to a driver. You can then arrange a meeting point as there is no door to door service possible.

We enjoyed this Riad immensely. From the moment we arrived (late night arrival) to the moment we left, we were treated with the upmost of consideration. Breakfast was the traditional Moroccan fare served in an inviting manner by staff who could not be more kind or thoughtful.
Our room was a visual delight. The ceiling breathtaking. The bed comfortable, the bathroom and sitting area spacious. Personal amenities are nice.
And then there is Mohamed. A young man who seems to be everywhere at all times. Always with a smile, a gentle inquiry to make sure your stay is what you wish and suggestions to maximize your Marrakesh experience.
Rachelle who I did not have the opportunity to meet, was my first contact with the Riad. Like Mohamed, she too was incredibly helpful. My husband I will will always be thankful for the outstanding private driver/tour guide she arranged for our road trip from Marrakesh to Fes.

This place was superb! The first thing you notice is the beautiful traditional oriental murals on the ceiling; and as it was just recently renovated - every room was very clean, stylish and comfortable for a few night's stay. The location is also great if you want to have a good night's sleep, as it is nestled in a quieter part of town but still gives you a walkable distance to the medina. The (best) hotel manager - Muhammed - will guide you to the medina on the first day so you can better orient yourself. The staff is super friendly, helpful and almost like a family!
Although pretty pricey, the only problem I would point out is that I could not stay longer :D

Beautifull quiet riad, nice spacious room, friendly staff, good location.
Pigeons everywhere any time. Pool is very small - not really suitable for serious swimming (as I promissed our children). We had a beautifull appartement but AC capacity was way to small to chill the 3 rooms.

A stunning property which was well designed.
The Riad manager, Youssef was so attentive and created a lovely welcoming environment, with a great service from Hammed, Mohamed and Zahid.
The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of food beautifully presented, we didnt need to eat again until the evening. Thoroughly recommend.

Amazing Riad, perfect service, quiet and impressive architecture.
Initially the location inside the kasbah looked a bit complex to navigate, but when we have been told how to exit and enter became even more interesting as overall experience in the local life, with fresh market close by.

Stunning property incredible decor and fabulous food. I have travelled a lot over the years but this stay was really special for me.
Mohammed is an incredible Host and the team are so lovely, professional and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble.. The service we received was second to none.
It was great to stay just a 20 minute walk away from the Medina.. a hidden gem.
Normally I never go back to the same place twice.. but this Riad has given me a reason to come back.

Staying in a riad (traditional guest house in Morocco) has been a unique experience! The room was beautiful and truly oriental, while daily visits to the yard totally worth it! The breakfast was homemade and quite traditional, and the location was in the heart of the historical center. Last but not least, Mohamed was an excellent host, always there to make sure our stay is comfortable and help us with suggestions. He also booked for us two amazing activities!
There were some issues with the facilities, like flickering lamps and a dripping tap, but they were totally minor!

Everything about this Riad was just fantastic. Mohammed and Rachelle were very sweet and accommodating. Pictures dont do justice, whole venue is quite spacious and beautifully decorated, rooms are very stylish. Food was delicious, hammam was very relaxing.
Not a dislike, but if youre coming in winter like us - rooms are a bit chilly. Make sure to grab some warm pjs.

The Riad is gorgeous, beautifully appointed, well-located with amazing food and kind, professional staff. You feel as though you are staying in a luxurious private home with an amazing chef that prepares delicious meals, alongside a team of dedicated individuals to take care of you. Whether accommodating a late night dinner, to the hammam and masseuse, every detail has been considered.
The interiors reflect the artistry of local craftsmen and customs for an experience that transports you. This would be the ideal escape for a girls trip, or a multi generational family gathering, or as a solo trip, as I did. My stay in Marrakech would not have been as enjoyable if I had stayed somewhere else. When I return to Marrakech, you can be sure I will be staying here.
