Broken glass in doors and mirrored cupboards. Stained sun lounger cushions. Badly marked up grubby walls and doors. This hotel is not cheap and this level of maintenance isn't acceptable. The location is also terrible. There is literally nothing for kilometers around and so if you don't plan in advance to have transport, you are really trapped OR subject to the hotels 100% markup on the taxi cost. You are also stuck with the below average food the hotel restaurant serves. Couple this with their lack of care for their clients - we were told on our departure morning that we not only had to be out of our room by the departure time, but literally OFF THE PROPERTY! We were absolutely shocked that we weren't allowed to sit in the garden for an hour before heading to the airport. Apparently normally this would be allowed, but they'd privatised the hotel for a group on the day we were leaving and gave them an early check-in....which curtailed our stay at the hotel. Being told we literally had to be off the property was bizarre enough, but coupled with the fact that the hotel is surrounded by a dessert for kilometers....and then being met with shrugged shoulders when we asked what they proposed we do with our bags. We weren't even allowed to leav them for fear the new guests might see us. Not that this would have been a practical solution given the 2 hours notice we had of the situation. The nearest inhabited area is a 14km drive which you wouldn't do for a round trip to collect bags. A terrible sour ending.

To start, I will say this property has a lot of potential. Although it is 25 minutes away from Marrakech city center, it offers an oasis amongst a desert wasteland. The property is most definitely 4 stars; however, the service is not up to par. Some items that my friend and I noted: -The food sanitation is horrible. There is a breakfast buffet that had HUNDREDS of bees swarming the food, making it virtually impossible to retrieve a plate without bees landing on you. The lunch buffet was the same situation- birds, bees and flies landing on the food all day long. If this were in the United States, it would have failed food safety inspections. -Food service was very slow. We understand that in different cultures, they take their time and dont rush as we Americans do. But it was surprising considering we were one of maybe 10 people at this location. In addition, we were told breakfast begins at 8:15 but they were never ready until closer to 8:30-9 daily. My friend was pregnant and experiencing morning sickness, so the delay was definitely a major issue for us. -We were told that the menu changes daily and that was why the menu wasnt posted online, but that was not true. The menu did not change and you were left to pick from the same 6 items every day. Food was a 4/10 so if foodie experiences are your thing, skip this place. -There was a friendly dog and multiple cats roaming the property. We did not mind these animals because we love pets, but we can understand why some people may be put off by this. -On multiple occasions, we had random men enter our suite through the back fence. This was extremely disturbing being that we were 2 women traveling without our husbands. Once we yelled, they left the property but it was very upsetting. -The hotel staff is super accommodating if you reach out to them via WhatsApp. Anything we asked for was delivered within 30 minutes. Reda was very kind and helped us once we arrived.

what needs to look like a luxurious stay is in real life quite a deception. The room we had (bungalow) was old and not clean. Lots of stains on the walls and the curtains old and dirty. overall facilities in the room are very disappointing. Told them two times that the room wasnt comfortable and not what we expected but because we are not from France/French speaking management cares less in this French enclave. We also saw cockroaches on the terrace. For us it wasnt the place to be unfortunately.

I did not like the fact we had to leave. Nothing to dislike at all here and I have been coming to the country for a decade..

Wifi cut off all the time and worked poorly. I recommend adding some vegetables, fruits and yoghurt to breakfast as it felt little lacking. Location is good for relaxing but theres nothing close by and outside of the hotel area there is only trash and rock fields everywhere. We had ordered a pickup from airport but there wasn't anyone facing us upon arrival at the airport.

The room had a lot a technical issues. The bathroom tap was leaking during the whole stay even after it was fixed by the staff. And the menu had little variety.
