Great location, friendly staff and lovely view for breakfast!
Pretty basic single room. Door leads to balcony and very noisy street. Hot water in shower took ages to warm up and walls quite thin so could hear neighbours. All in all, I got what I paid for!

Very polite staff, clean room, hotel looks beautiful which keeps it's old school charm on the inside and outside.
The room was next to a busy road and windows don't keep sound out, feels like you on the road. Luckily, I brought ear plugs otherwise very loud.

Friendly staff at the reception and special the lady who works as a maid, who cleaned my room - thanks :) The room was charming. The Hotel has a lovely breakfast room on the 5th floor where I was enjoyed spectacular views over Castille Square and beyond, with indoor and outdoor seating. At ground floor theres the very charmingcafe, a cosy little coffee shop that serves delicious homemade food.

Location is fabulous. View was amazing, looking out onto a square. Room was huge (I'm used to tiny modern hotels!) Room was super quite as well, bearing in mind the square was full and the hotel was full too. Didn't hear a peep from other guests! TV in the room, with a selection of channels. Breakfast was basic, but fresh, and refreshed often. Not stale etc.
The toilet was a little old fashioned, small, and not the cleanest. And no fan, so would remain steamy and uncomfortable for hours after a hot shower. AC stops cooling after a while. I can imagine this being uncomfy in the height of summer

The location is perfect, right next to the Upper Barraka Gardens. All the staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was great, and the view from the restaurant's rooftop is probably the best in Valletta.
The hotel is very old, so some doors don't work properly, there is mold on the walls, and some items can't be cleaned properly. Nevertheless, it didn't bother us, since the advantages the hotel has (such as the location and the price) are more important to us.

Wonderful
The hotel was in a great place for sight seeing in Valletta, everything was within walking distance. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful and friendly.
The lack of awareness by the staff at breakfast, it was not really busy but every morning items were not replenished very quickly. Every morning we had to ask for cups, glasses and cutlery.

We were very happy that we chose Hotel Castile for our stay in Malta. The hotels location couldnt be more central, the hotel room was very comfortable and it had an amazing view. The breakfast was served with a great view and nice tastes.

The location was great. Room was big and stuff were super friendly and always helpful! View from the breakfast room was awesome (5th floor).
Every morning was very loud ans busy outside so it was hard to sleep. Also breakfast was not good, it was very simple, every day the same. Room had some problems with the door (problems with opening/closing).

Room was hot so we asked for a fan which they willingly provided it is an old hotel
Hot. No air conditioning
Dont leave windows open unless you want mozzie bites. We learnt the hard way!
