Very Good
location is quiet away from the main tourist area of the northwest coast, this suited me and my elderly family. it was clean and secure
it was a bit run down , need some tlc, but the bones of it are good
arrival was non optimal, but owners aware and keen to improve the process , also very doable

Very Good
Overall great value considering it was a villa with 3 bedrooms. This was the first place on the island we stayed at (out of 5) and it seemed great initially but in hindsight it was not the best: it felt like a place that would have been very luxurious in the 70s and the rooms/facilities were fine but there were too many (large) cockroaches near all sinks (kitchen and bathrooms), which turned out later no other place we stayed at had. Finally, I had the impression the place would have direct beach access which was slightly misleading - it was across the street from the beach but one had to walk around the entire compound to exit first and then get to the beach. All that said, it is actually great option if you need a place to get over jet lag since you can drag yourself to the beach and lovely swimming pool without driving.

no AC downstairs, upstairs A/C worked well in one room but not the other. large cockroaches in the property.

Wonderful
Big house on the sea side with 2 storeys. Ground floor is hall, kitchen, bathroom and a terrace. Upper floor is 3 bedroom, a bathroom with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Situated right across Palmar public beach, this place is a comfortable place for staying near Belle Mare beach in Mauritius.
The owners greeted us with a warm welcome & came to meet us in the evening and guided us about local shops, places to visit, supermarkets and transport.
On the down side, this place is a little far from restaurants and supermarkets. So it is recommended to have own car or a taxi person contact number to be able to commute to nearby places.
