The Location and bike availability. Comfortable bed.
Staff lacked knowledge and friendliness which resulted in bad customer service. Overall overprized. The tub was lacking the advertised whirlpool function (Junior Suite).

The location on the waterside is really nice, what a great view and what a pretty place.
The staff should do a training in friendly hospitality. No smiles and to a what seems to me a regular question; "Is a late check-out possible?" The answer was direct: No. Not; let me have a look or no, we have had a lot of requests and we're fully booked. Just no. It's clear but not very friendly.

Part of the hotel complex is rented out to wedding parties. They were drunk swimming in the harbour and shouting at 2am. No security to see them off. Very disturbing unable to sleep. The room was poorly designed and rather basic. The room was not ready at checkin time.

Wonderful
I LOVED the way the buildings all have different colours and styles, and were designed to resemble and old-style fishing village. This was a brilliant idea. It was not too far to walk into the village (about a half hour) and it was interesting to see the architecture in the residential area you pass along the way. I happened to be there on Kings Day so I got to experience the village festivities. The hotel complex is perfectly situated for people wanting to stay for a day or two before or after their river cruise, which was why I booked there. It is a BEAUTIFUL complex. I also appreciated the wild flower/bird/insect garden.
There is nothing to dislike about the property.

Warm and dry after a long cold wet cycle trip
Rooms had double beds whereas singles booked. Dinner order missed off one dish that was ordered and charged for one dish not provided. Fries not cooked properly. Staff relatively indifferent

Location good.
Breakfast was below average for even a 3 star hotel. Lunch menu was very limited. No telephone or fridge in the room. I don't like paper cups instead of proper glasses and cups. For what was provided it was very expensive.

Everything was perfect. We booked one night and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the parking was free and there are many restaurants where you can eat. The place is idillic.

They gave the key to my room to somebody else! Then they made me feel bad about it, like i made a mistake, and in the end they did not even apologiesed for their error. Bad service goes also on their restaurant, where they are barely trying to be decently nice. There is no WiFi anywhere... On top of that, I really do not think they have 4 stars

The staff in the hotel were friendly and informative. The restaurant was clean and had a great selection at breakfast. View was good from room and very peaceful.
The bathroom was dirty, especially the shower and the pillow on the single bed was covered in hairs.
